What is a yacht charter?

Renting a boat is a unique way to explore some of the most magical corners of the Earth. Discover untouched coastlines and hidden coves, aboard the vessel of your choice; whether it be sailing or motor, there is something to suit you. Not a sailor? Not a problem!

We offer yacht rentals both bareboat and with crew, so if you’re not quite the experienced boatsman you long to be, don’t worry, you can hire a professional skipper to do the hard work for you! Also, if you wish to embark on a cruise without renting an entire boat, you can simply charter an ensuite cabin for 2 people aboard a spacious catamaran or gulet. Complete with a skipper and hostess, and often full-board, this option allows you to enjoy all the wonders of sailing without any of the stress or know-how!

Where and when to set sail…

In Summer, the Mediterranean is indisputably the world’s favourite sailing ground; with yacht charters popularly in the Greek and Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily, and of course the sublime waters of Croatia; where over 20% of rentals are concentrated! In winter, sailors tend to disperse to tropical paradises such as the Caribbean, South-East Asia or islands in the Pacific or Indian Oceans such as Polynesia or the Seychelles. Some all-year-round boat charter destinations include the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and Brazil, so whether you want to sail close or far from home, there’s an abundance of incredible spots to choose from!
N.B. Yacht rentals anywhere in Europe will require a nautical license, and in Croatia, a VHF license is also needed.

Charter at your price!

Regarding budgets, a yacht rental with friends and family need be as expensive as you wish. Average prices range between 500-1000€ per person, per week, but this can vary dramatically depending on the boat, dates and destination! If you charter outside of peak season (July-August), you can save money, as well as simply booking your boat and flights in advance, so you can benefit from early booking discounts. Yacht charters offer a competitive alternative for your next holiday, as you don’t have to pay for hotels or restaurants, whilst you get to exploring a diverse range of coastlines and islands. With equipment for activities such as snorkeling often included in the price, and efficient cooking facilities on board, renting a boat to make your next vacation a memorable one is a no-brainer!
