Getting There
Connected to the mainland of Greece by a small narrow bridge, it is one of the few islands reachable by car as it is Fly into Aktion National Airport, near the mainland town of Preveza, which accommodates low cost flights from European cities. For those traveling from the capital city of Athens, shuttles run daily both ways (6 to 7-hour journey).
