We get great attitude from local charter. Ralf the base manager was very kind and helpfull. The boat was just stunning, we were the third rental couple. Bright new catamaran already give you a nice input of what is gona be your holidays in such a nice area. Seychelles was just a masing to visit, coconut, sea, white sand, good fish, wonderfull snorkinlg despite too much dead corail you can go your eyes closed and leave you in a smooth peace overthere.
All info's available to make it a memorable holiday event
This is the 2nd Catamaran cruise we have been on with Dream Yacht. The Captain on this boat was extremely good (as well as the crew). The Captain went out of his way to make sure that we all got to see everything we expected to see on our trip. Very professional and exceeded our expectations by far!
The boat is used, but has worked well during the 30-35 knots winds and waves. Check in and out were easy without any problems. Satisfied with GlobeSailor and Alboran. Only one suggestion: rent as newer boat as you can 2010 and up , preferably with bow thruster (missed one in some marinas).
the service was great, local people are really fantastic
Very organised helpful flexible and professional. The company did everything we asked of them and the skipper was great! Boat in very good order. They provided us with any extras we requested.... I would highly recommend !
We rented out of English Harbour, Antigua, for a week. Globe sailor and Dream Yacht Charter has been very helpful, nice, and service minded. Check out and return of the boat was effortless, but with good instructions when questions were asked. The yacht is generally very well equipped, and recently upgraded in many aspects (batteries for instance). I can highly recommend this charter.
We booked this boat in December. Check in and check out process was really quick. Staff was helpful. The boat itsel was in fair condition for a 10 year old boat. The finish on furniture and on the deck somewhat worn, but the boat was in full working order, sails in good condition, easy to furl and unfurl. The throttle handle was sticky and a bit tough to switch from reverse to forward. They said they were going to fix it. Awerall, it was definitely a great boat for the price we payed in December. Regarding the weather, we always had a fair wind, the temperature was a bit chilly out in the sea, but at the shore it was warm enough to sunbathe and swim. It gets quite hot when the sun is out. The seawater was warm(at least for a person coming from north). Marina Del Sur is a good place to start out for La Gomera and La Palma.
I had the catmaran for the first time. Satisfaction, good service, excellent skipper the first day - he taught us all about the catamaran.
When we arrived the boat was in perfect condition. During the week we did not experience any problem or malfunction in any way. The boat handled well in stronger winds (it feels nice and robust), but is not a light weather sailer (you will need to start the engine in light winds to make some decent progress). Charts and cruising guides on board enabled route planning and navigating the area was quite easy (assuming you feel comfortable anchoring). We chartered for one week, which is a bit short to explore the area.
