The vessel is great, and the crew was amazing. I can tell you that, of all the boats, this crew was the best. It was truly a luxury experience, with very polite, attentive staff and excellent food, along with impeccable behavior and professionalism.
Awesome crew, big boat, great destination, good food, blue sky weather every day. Just the bathroom in the room that was smelling bad and made us sleep outside the whole time.
Boat was well-prepared and on time. Front office helpful once you get them on the phone :) Beautiful starting point for a week in Amalfi.
Everything was beyond expectations. Will redo the trip next year!
The Renoir will be a comfortable charter for anyone who wants an owner version powercat in the Aegean. The water maker and the fuel consumption makes this a must for anyone who wants to realize their excellent adventure. It’s either too windy or not windy enough is a common theme I heard from the sailcat owners and charters. If you want to go six knots, have at it. The Renoir will top out at 16 knots and provide 8 to 12 very graciously.
We really enjoyed Mar Me Quer and had a tremendous week exploring Portugal’s southern coastline.
Mar Me Quer was a super bareboat charter. She has been well looked after and is equipped with the home essentials that a cruising boat should have. This was our fifth family yachting holiday and she had the most completely equipped galley and cabins. It was a pleasure to sail her and we achieved good speeds.
The Algarve coast appears to be a hidden gem for a cruising holiday with its delightful and variable coastline. There are plenty of boat only coves and beautiful estuaries, providing lots of opportunity to anchor. It is also easy to book into a marina's (if the crew need some steady ground and shops etc) with a phone call that morning. With the Algarve's consistent winds you can make good progress. Mar Me Quer is a well maintained boat and a very enjoyable sail.
From the pre sales phase all through to the end everything went well.
We had an amazing first sailing experience on a Pogo 44 together with the skipper Pierre. Initially we were set to sail with another boat more suitable for a crew that had more experience. However it was well arranged that we could switch to a more comfortable boat which was very valuable!
Initially we had some trouble finding the boat on the dock since it was not really specified or communicated anywhere, but after some phone calls we finally managed to find it.
The plan was very flexible and fully up to the crew to decide whether we stayed the nights at different ports or anchored in different locations, as well as where we decided to sail. Our skipper Pierre was very professional and knowledgable, and we got to learn quite a lot during our course!
All in all a very special experience in the sunny mediterranean sea with clear waters and sunny wamr days!
We booked Sardinia for a FOUR week bareboat charter with no real idea of what it offered- Obviously the yacht would play a big roll in the process and the local agent would be very important if there was any questions or there was any issues.
We had both- many questions that were all answered and a couple of issue that were addressed immediately after we contacted Boomerang base.
They quickly diagnosed the problem on the phone and arranged for it to be sorted straight away.
Their crew are excellent is assisting in leaving and returning to port .
No hidden costs!
As a family we would normally venture into the Adriatic or the Med for a month sailing every year.
We have booked the same boat for 4 weeks next year already .
The location is the best for SAILING we have experienced.
The boat is great but it had some isues with the electric system.
The crew was very great providing us the perfect trip
The location is the best so far in greece, Paxos and Antipaxos are wanderfull.
