Very satisfied with everything

Good service and communication from Omega Sail and Globe Sailor throughout. Boat was in a slight 'end-of-season' condition, but everything worked as intended. Fair price for a two-week charter. Would use again.

Great to find an amazing small charter company offering a first class service. Palerous is a fabulous small marina - so quick and easy for pickup and delivery. Rico the base manager was super helpful. The only downside is it is not too easy to do the provisioning in such a small town.

Unless you sail here often, taking 2 weeks rather than one is a good option because it takes a bit of time to relax with the boat and the Greek ways of boating. There is plenty to see and do so we felt that 2 weeks was ideal.
We were also pleased we came after peak season because the water was still warm but the weather wasn’t too hot. It’s a fine line to tread because many of the tavernas and other services will wrap up by the end of October. One drawback for us was that we didn’t have a lot of wind. Not sure if that is common in September.

Good and roomy layout, powerful engines, dinghy lift-platform, very powerful dinghy. Excellent boat for Island hopping.

Had a great week on the Dufour 41 Yin Yang. The boat is in good condition and the team from Portway led by Erkan did a great job in getting us going and looking after us all the way through the process. Top rate experience.

The only negative was the GlobeSailor Concierge Service which failed to deliver. That is no reflection on Portway who did a great job.

The boat, renting company etc are all good. The main problem is lack of anchorage places in the region. The marina in Capri requested 2,400 Euros per night. The other marinas were either impossible to reach (I called them maybe 20 times, no answer) or were full. The concierge service that I paid for was worthless. The buoys off Capri and Positano were horrible options; even if the weather offered a flat sea at night (which was not the case for us), marine traffic rocks the boat enough to make accommodation unpleasant. We had to rent an Airbnb villa in Positano to get some decent sleep. It was a great experience over all for a week. But we have also learned that Amalfi coast is not suitable by charter boat if you are not used to sleeping in a rocking boat.

Almost new boat unfortunately had 2 broken saloon windows. Great freezer and fridge fantastic saloon . Bedrooms OK but heads very tight . All in we had a great cruise with little to no problems.worth commenting that the helming position on this boat is extremely compromised with little to no view on the port forward quarter making harbour entry very difficult.

I could not recommend this charter more highly. The boat was well presented, the briefing was the best we have ever had anywhere in the world, we had a few technical problems but they had people to the boat within two hours and when we had a medical problems they really stepped up.
