This was an exceptional cruise. The crew on board could not have been better. The quality and amount of food was fabulous.

However,I did not need to travel the day before as the boarding time was late in the day at 6pm. This is the only complaint I have, because Global Sailor did not make this clear. In the literary that I was sent I was notified of a cocktail reception at 6pm. Luckily I met a crew member who took my luggage onbaord in the morning, otherwise I would have had to drag my baggage around all day in Lyon.Next time I will know to make contact with the boat as their information is correct, not necessarily the situation with the agents. Sorry!

The boat was good but with two issues. There is next to no storage in the forward cabin. Just a wardrobe that also included the lifejackets.
More importantly the outboard was 4 hp. This was a very heavy engine to remove of the pushpit rail onto the dinghy. Despite having a fit gym instructor on board, we were unable to use the engine more than once. SailItalia’s argument was that the boat could sleep 8 people, therefore a larger engine was needed.
Ridiculous thinking.
For this reason we would not use Sailitalia again.
Most charter boats have 2.5 Hp engines. quite enough.

The boat was very big and comfortable.
Some little things were damaged from the beginning:
* One steering wheel (out of 2) did not work. Wasn't a big deal for us.
* Sink water faucet on the toilet did not hold in its bracket. It was enjoying.
*One cabin, the one above the diesel tank smelled like diesel and when the tank was full, the bed rose due to the pressure in the tank. The person who slept in this cabin was very brothered by it.

Generally a well presented Yacht. Functionally, everything works just fine. Sails and motor in excellent condition. A few minor snagging points, but no show stoppers. Dimitris, the boar owner, is excellent. Fantastic WhatsApp communication throughout the week. He clearly cares!
