Seychelles

DAY 1 : Mahé - Round Island
The crew and captain are waiting for you at Inter Island Quay at 10:30 am for your boarding. After the captain's welcome and briefing, you will depart for Round Island. You will arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a delicious barbecue on the boat.

DAY 2 : Round Island - Praslin
For this day, you will sail in the direction of Praslin. You will visit the Vallée de Mai, a site classified by UNESCO and nicknamed the "Garden of Eden". This forest of palm trees is home to the famous "coco de mer", known as the largest seed in the world. During your walk you may have the chance to see the Seychelles black parrot. The afternoon will be dedicated to diving (extra charge), or other water sports. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 3 : Praslin - La Digue
The captain weighed anchor in the morning and set course for La Digue. This island surrounded by granite rocks is home to the famous and heavenly Anse Source d'Argent beach. You can visit it by bicycle (hire on site). On your way to Union State, you will discover some of the island's traditional activities: a copra factory, a vanilla plantation and a shipyard. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 4 : La Digue - The Sisters - Coco Island
After breakfast, you leave for the islands of Big Sister and Little Sister (the Sisters). These islands are very popular with divers and are home to a particularly diverse underwater fauna and flora. You may have the chance to observe sea turtles swimming to the beach. You will then go to Coco, a wild and preserved island. You'll put on flippers, mask and snorkel and dive amongst a myriad of tropical fish. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 5 : Coco Island - Arid
Your morning will be dedicated to nautical activities on Booby Island. A little later, set course for Aride. Classified as a nature reserve, this island is a paradise for birdwatchers (5 endemic bird species are present). You will go in search of Wright's gardenias, also called "lemon wood" a small one with white spotted flowers that only grows on Aride. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 6 : Arid - Curious
Today the crew is taking you to Curious. You will have free time to visit the island and walk through its impressive mangrove forest. Following the trails, you will find the historical ruins of the former leper colony. Indeed, Curieuse was used as a leper colony from 1883 to 1965 to isolate the sick from the population. You will also discover a giant turtle farm which participates in the protection of land and sea turtles. Dinner and night on board.

DAY 7 : Curious - Dry Island - Mahé
It's time to start the return journey to Mahé. During the crossing, you will stop on Dry Island for a last snorkeling session. For lunch you will have a barbecue on board (depending on weather conditions). You'll set sail again and will depart from Victoria Harbour in the late afternoon. Dinner and night at the quay.

DAY 8 : Mahé
Your disembarkation at Inter Island Quay is scheduled for 8:30.

    Vacanza indimenticabile

Frequently asked questions

  • What are the necessary documents for a trip to the Seychelles?

No visa is required. You will need to present a valid passport (at least until the date of departure from Seychelles), be able to prove your financial solvency on the spot, show proof of accommodation and a return or onward ticket. You will then obtain a short stay visa valid for 3 months. Beyond that, a residence permit will be required.
  • What are the recommended vaccinations to go to the Seychelles?

No vaccine is mandatory for the Seychelles. Vaccinations against hepatitis A and B are sometimes offered. We advise you to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs www.diplomatie.gouv.fr before travelling abroad.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How does a cruise with Skipper work? And a Hostess?

All the skippers we propose are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. If you have any special requirements regarding the skipper, please let us know. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to take part in the manoeuvres with him, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organization, the skipper sleeps on the boat, either in a separate cabin or in the saloon. The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. On request, a hostess (or cook) can prepare your meals, clean the saloon, your cabins and more generally ensure the good order of the boat. All our cabin cruises include the services, at least, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).

Only the excursion of the Dyke is extra (10 Euros per person for the entrance of the Union Estate park) and the rental of a bicycle or ox-cart directly on the island.

The currency in the Seychelles is the Seychelles rupee.

But this payment in foreign currency is not an obligation.

Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere (Visa and MasterCard mainly, American Express and Diners Club a little more rarely), as well as traveller's cheques in large establishments.

The majority of banks are located in Mahé, more precisely in Victoria, at the airport and near Beau Vallon. There are branches on the 2 other main islands (Praslin and La Digue).
