Immerse yourself in the culture by learning more about Montenegro's incredible history up close with guided tours of its most symbolic cities.
Sail the Adriatic Sea aboard the ornate Sadri Usta 1. At 32 meters-long and 7 meters wide, the gulet is adorned with neat wooden decorations. On board, the captain and crew will be at your service the entire cruise, so that you are able to fully experience your vacation. This Sadri Usta is well equipped with an air-conditioned lounge/bar perfect for relaxing. The outdoor dining room, located at the back of the boat, grants an impeccable view of the sea while enjoying your meals out of the sun. The sundeck gives way to a beautiful golden tan while admiring the landscapes on the Montenegrin coast.

The gulet has 6 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, which can accommodate up to 16 passengers. At approximately 7m², the cabins are illuminated and equipped with a double bed (150x220 cm) or two twin beds (80x200 cm), storage space and a bathroom with a hair dryer and private toilets.
Small in area with a profound heritage, Montenegro is a gorgeous nation. Its tumultuous history has help to mold it into a country with much variety. From the Venetians to the Ottomans, each section of its history, good or bad, has made the country’s’ architecture resemble no other. Arriving in the picturesque Bay of Kotor, often called Europe’s most southern fjord, is what you will appreciate the most.
Day 1: Porto Montenegro
Upon arrival at the Tivat airport, you will be met by your driver who will take you to the gulet, where you will board at 5 pm. The crew will take you to your cabin so you can get comfortable and unpack your things. You will then be invited to enjoy a welcome drink and mixer in order to get to know the crew and other passengers. Before dinner, you can explore the boat from top to bottom so that you may be comfortable. Dinner on board.
Day 2: Tivat - Kotor
Your day starts with a visit to the Maritime Heritage Museum, located in Tivat. Afterwards you will board with the captain headed for Kotor. During the crossing, you will stop in Lutja Bay for lunch and to take a swim. You will arrive in the sublime medieval city of Kotor in the afternoon. You will have free time to discover the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that is enclosed by its remarkable city wall. The more courageous will climb the 1426 steps that lead to the former St. John's Fortress. From above, the panorama over the mouths of Kotor and the Lovcen massif is stunning!
Day 3: Kotor - Budva
In the morning, you will visit the old town of Kotor with a passionate guide, who will explain its deep history and reveal its most treasured secrets. The crew then casts off, to sail peacefully along the coast and leave the Bay of Kotor. Get freshened up to enjoy the dishes prepared by your chef in the charming bay of Dobra Luka. Another stop will be made at the beautiful Jaz beach to relax. Afterward, your journey continues to the village of Budva. More than 2500 years old, it is considered one of the oldest villages on the entire Adriatic coast. At the end of the day, take a stroll through the streets of Budva and discover its churches.
Day 4: Budva - Bar
The captain casts off in the morning and headed for Bar. You will anchor in front of the small peninsula of Sveti Stefan for lunch. Your journey continues north along the Montenegrin coast. During the crossing, you will have another stopover to swim in the peaceful Majlevik Bay. You will arrive at Bar in the late afternoon. You will have the evening to stroll around the city and admire the Orthodox church of Saint Jovan Vladimir and the palace of King Nicholas Acke (transformed into a museum). For dinner, you can taste the local specialties based on fish and shellfish in one of the many restaurants in the port. Overnight at the dock.
Day 5: Bar - Bigova
After breakfast, you will explore the ancient fortified citadel of Stari Bar. Your guide will explain how this fortress, built on a hill, was besieged many times by the Venetians, Serbs, Hungarians and Ottomans. After this visit, the crew will hoist the sails and take you to Lucice Bay. During lunch, you can admire the view of the city of Petrovac and its 600-meter beach. Your cruise continues north and you anchor in the charming Traste Bay. Enjoy a few breaststrokes or simply floating in the water. At the end of the day, you will stop at Bigova. Located in a bay, this fishing village is the ideal place to explore the seabed. Overnight at the dock or an anchorage.
Day 6: Bigova - Herceg Novi
You will sail to Mirista Bay for lunch and make another stopover in Njvice. Put on your fins to dive into crystal clear water. Afterwards you will dock at the port of Herceg Novi in the afternoon. This city from the 14th century is often described as a "garden city" because of its abundant vegetation (magnolia, cactus, agave...). Herceg Novi, which has been besieged many times by several civilizations, is rich in heritage. You will discover its cultural influences (Turkish, Spanish...) by strolling through its narrow streets and walking to its famous Forte Mare fortress. For your dinner, the crew will recommend a few small traditional restaurants to try. Overnight at the dock or an anchorage.
Day 7: Herceg Novi – Perast – Sveti Marko
Enjoy sailing in the Bay of Kotor to admire the scenery from the sun deck and relax on one of the deckchairs. You will have lunch on board, in Risan Bay. You take to the open sea and make landfall in Perast in the afternoon. We suggest you climb up to the top of the church of St. Nicholas to enjoy the view of the city and the coast. By visiting its museum you will learn more about the history of Perast and the Mouths of Kotor. For your last evening on board, the captain weighs anchor to reach the small island of Sveti Marko. The chef will prepare delicious dishes for you to celebrate the captain's dinner.
Day 8: Perast - Porto Montenegro
The captain sets sail early for Porto Montenegro. Your disembarkment is scheduled after your breakfast, around 9am. A shuttle bus will take you to the Tivat airport for your return flight.
