Turkey

DAY 1: Bodrum Marina (Bodrum)
You are due to board your gulet at 4:30 pm at Bodrum harbour. Take some time to explore the gulet and your cabin, both of which reflect the authentic charm of these traditional vessels. After a brief safety briefing by the crew, you are free to stroll around Bodrum harbour or familiarise yourself further with the boat. Around 6.30 pm, the crew will weigh anchor and head for a sheltered bay where you will spend the night. Make the most of this first sail to admire a magnificent sunset. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Please note: Guests who miss boarding before 6.30 pm will be directed to the boarding point nearest to the schooner, which may be outside Bodrum harbour, in the ports of Gümbet, Bitez or Yaliciftlik, and then transferred by tender. For arrivals after 9.30 pm, no dinner will be served.

DAY 2: Bodrum – Orak Island – Çökertme
You’ll enjoy your first lunch on board as the gulet sets sail for Orak Island, renowned for its turquoise waters and unspoilt coves, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. After this refreshing break and lunch on board, the voyage continues to Çökertme, a coastal village nestled in the Gulf of Gökova, which charms visitors with its peaceful atmosphere, traditional hospitality and natural surroundings of olive groves and pine forests, typical of the Aegean region. You’ll enjoy its authentic charm, its small seaside restaurants and its beach with crystal-clear waters. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

DAY 3: Çökertme – The Yedi Islands – Ayinda Bay
Today, you’ll explore a series of unspoilt bays and secluded anchorages. At dawn, the captain weighs anchor and sets course for the Yedi Adalar (the Princes’ Islands). You’ll discover them during a gentle morning sail: a peaceful archipelago with a timeless charm, known for its historic mansions, religious heritage, and tranquil atmosphere—once a place of Byzantine exile and later an elegant holiday retreat. Your midday stop is at Uzun Liman, where a swim in the crystal-clear waters is not to be missed. The day ends in the wild, unspoilt setting of Ayinda Bay, surrounded by green hills. Here you’ll enjoy a peaceful dinner under a clear, star-filled sky. Overnight on board.

DAY 4: Ayinda Bay – Sedir Island – Karacasöğüt Bay
After breakfast, you will set off to explore Sedir Island, also known as Cleopatra’s Island, famous for its golden sandy beach—which, according to legend, was imported from Egypt—as well as its turquoise waters and the ruins of Cedrae, including a theatre and a temple. An entrance fee of around €15 applies, as this is a protected site. Take your time to enjoy this magical place, where myth, history, and unspoilt nature come together. In the afternoon, your cruise continues to Karacasöğüt Bay, a tranquil haven surrounded by pine forests, renowned for its calm waters, small marina, and a waterfall and cave nestled in a pristine natural setting. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

*An optional excursion to Dalyan is available on the same day, including the Dalyan River, the ancient city of Caunos, the Lycian rock tombs and Iztuzu Turtle Beach. Those who do not wish to take part will remain on board to enjoy a day of swimming; the visit to Cleopatra’s Island will then be postponed until the following day.

DAY 5: Karacasöğüt Bay – Longoz Bay – Tuzla Bay
You wake up in the heart of this peaceful bay and enjoy a quiet morning swim. The captain continues your exploration of the unspoilt bays along the Turkish coast by choosing the tranquil Longoz Bay as your anchorage. A natural haven surrounded by pine trees, crossed by a small stream that lends it an intimate, verdant atmosphere. After lunch, you head to Tuzla Bay, a sheltered bay with deep shades of blue, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and rich marine life, ideal for snorkelling, where it is not uncommon to spot dolphins. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

DAY 6: Tuzla Bay – Kargili Bay – Kissebükü Bay
At first light, the crew sets sail westwards towards Kargili Bay, where you can enjoy a relaxing morning in calm waters surrounded by rugged hills. After lunch, the voyage continues to Kissebükü, a fascinating historical site home to numerous Byzantine ruins: the remains of a monastery, a church, baths and cisterns, some of which are visible from the beach. You can explore the ruins on foot or simply enjoy the peaceful beach. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

DAY 7: Kissebükü Bay – Pabuç Burnu Bay – Bodrum
Today you head back towards Bodrum, with a final stop at Pabuç Burnu Bay. You can join the optional excursion, which includes a visit to a local mosque, a Turkish coffee tasting and a tour of an Anatolian weaving workshop, or enjoy a final swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. After lunch, it’s time for your final sail of the week towards Bodrum. The town is home to the ruins of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and St Peter’s Castle, now a museum of underwater archaeology. You’ll enjoy your final evening amidst its whitewashed streets lined with bougainvillea, its lively marina and its many restaurants. Dinner at your leisure and a final night on board.
