Sukošan is a modest town situated in a wide bay called the Golden Harbour which is home to a very modern, well equipped marina. It includes great restaurants, shops, a diving club and wonderful beaches. Its location is ideal for a great vacation, being only 7 kilometers Southeast from Zadar!

These are just a few reasons to rent a boat from marina Sukošan! Even though the city may be small, the marina makes up for it, being one of the biggest in Dalmacia!

Perfect check in, great hospitality, average boat condition but all worked well. Only minus is holding tank odor, when toiltet is flushed.

Boat was in good condition. Everything went perfect, easy, no drama, no delays, parking convenient at base, departure early, and late arrival back. No fuss, no drama. I would recommend this charter and would use them again. Boat was simple and small, but in good condition. Sukosan as a departure is a bit of a pain if you cannot go under the bridge to the west because it adds 2+ hours of travel to get out to the outter islands. But we made the most of it. It is nice you can arrive back to the marina on Saturday morning after refueling. Gas station near by can be a zoo, plan ahead and be there by 6 am if you can to avoid crowds of inexperienced skippers. Pumps dont open until 8 am however.

We have a group that have been going to Croatia for the the last four years and have rented boats from a different operator every year.

I have to say this company was fantastic to rent from. The boat was immaculate even though it's a few years old, it was almost like new and when going over the check in it was clear that the team know the boats inside out. For instance they new that the engine electrics ( made in China) could occasionally give problems so they solved this by adding a waterproof by pass button in the engine bay, which as a seasoned sailor I have never seen, but think it's genius and should be fitted as standard to all boats.

The only point I made to our hosts was when we arrived late at the marina the transfer left us outside the marina office and we didn't know where the boat was moored. It only took us 5mins to find it and it was actually all set up ready for us. They actually apologised and said that they would make sure that the info would be stuck on the office door in future.

We had a great time and the boat was perfect and the team at Sukosan were really professional.

I would highly recommend renting from this company again.
