Thailand

DAY 1 : Chalong Bay - Koh Mai Thon - Koh Phi Phi
Embark (11h00) on board the Amadeus and meet Lek (your skipper), Gai (your host/cook), Chet (your sailor), and your crew. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the boat and tidy up your belongings. After a short briefing, you will cast off around 11:30 am and head to Koh Mai Thon Island, where you can enjoy the delicious dishes prepared by your chef. From the sun deck, the view is breathtaking. You then head out to Koh Phi Phi. This island, particularly known for its white sandy beaches, is located in Phang Nga Bay. Take the opportunity to take a short trip on the island. There are many activities: Thai massage, sunbathing on the beach, bar with a view of this gem of the Andaman Sea.

DAY 2 : Koh Phi Phi - Koh Lanta Yai
Today, you sail to Kantiang Beach, located on the island of Koh Lanta Yai, one of Thailand's largest islands. It is known for its turquoise waters and the diversity of its seabed. Lovers of underwater exploration will not be disappointed! For lovers of tropical forest hikes, the island also offers its share of surprises (the National Park with its lighthouse and monkeys, impressive waterfalls, caves...). Head back to the boat and join your skipper, you will head a little further south and anchor in a small isolated bay. To immerse yourself in local customs, you will have dinner freely in a local restaurant. The crew will recommend a small family restaurant with typical Thai cuisine on the menu.

DAY 3 : Koh Lanta Yai - Koh Muk - Koh Rok Nok
After enjoying your breakfast on board, you will hoist sails and head to Koh Lanta and Koh Muk. Discover the sumptuous Emerald Cave, accessible only by swimming through a tunnel about 80 meters long (remember to bring your headlights). A landscape will reward this effort with magical colors. After these several adventures, you head back to Koh Rok Nok, an uninhabited green island outside the few rangers who are responsible for the preservation of the national park. Here again, the conditions are optimal for you to take out masks and snorkels and discover very colorful fish (mandarins, clowns) but also turtles. After this day of exploration, you will have a well-deserved barbecue on the beach while admiring the sunset.

DAY 4 : Koh Rok Nok - Koh Ha - Maya Bay
Head to Koh Ha, and get out the fishing gear. You may be lucky enough to catch a tuna and enjoy it as sashimi. Your crossing continues to Maya Bay, where you arrive to watch a beautiful sunset and spend the night. This is also where the film 'The Beach' starring Leonardo DiCaprio was shot. Note that the government has banned access to the beach from Maya Bay to preserve the environment. However, you can get there via Losama Bay the next morning.

DAY 5 : Maya Bay - Koh Racha Yai
Make yourself comfortable on the ship's trampolines and enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Your skipper will take you to Losama Bay to explore the famous beach. You will then head to the island of Koh Racha Yai where you may spot bottlenose dolphins. You will anchor in a peaceful bay where the water is almost transparent. The hostess can give you rice to attract the fish and watch this fabulous aquatic ballet.

DAY 6 : Koh Racha Yai - Chalong Bay
After breakfast, you will sail peacefully back to Chalong Bay with unforgettable memories. Your arrival at the port is scheduled for around 11 am.

    Island hopping off phuket

Where does one begin…Suni, Milk, and Em were just fabulous! Suni, our skipper, and his wife-Milk, she is the hostess/chef, and Em…our ever present first-mate…wonderful and kind people that ensured our delights for a wonderful holiday! Amadeus is a sturdy sound vessel with all of the practical amenities one requires. It isn’t fancy but functional! But the crew make up for everything you might think you lack! They took us on adventures the average person would never do or see staying at an over crowded resort on Phuket. It was quiet, peaceful and absolutely lovely! Highly recommend! I’m a sailor, but this time I just sat back and relaxed. Sometimes we can’t help the weather and you have to go by power…but it didn’t matter! Still wonderful being on the Andaman Sea, soaking up the sun and having fun! Skipper Suni is very knowledgeable…we were in great hands, Milk’s cooking is by far the best Thai food we had anywhere we were in Thailand, and Em would do anything for us at a drop of a hat! We were truly pampered!
And thanks, Ruby Mountain, for putting up with all of my pre-sail questions for our group of 5!
    Thanks, Linda and Brian Holden

    Fantastic!

Every aspect of the trip was fantastic! The crew, the food was amazing! I miss our chef so much. The best food I have eaten in my life. I celebrated my birthday on the boat and they made me feel like we have been friends forever. Thank you.

    Great trip

Highly recommended. The itinerary was wonderful and the food on the boat was the best that I ever tasted.

    Wonderful cruise

    Automatically translated.

I highly recommend a cruise through the beautiful southern islands of Thailand. We had a great crew, delicious (really wonderful) food, we were taken care of at the highest level, and our time was filled with relaxation, snorkeling, and admiring the wonderful, paradise beaches. Nothing to add, nothing to take away.

    Perfect in every way

    Automatically translated.

The catamaran is very well maintained and the crew is lovely. Excellent Thai cuisine. The stops on the itinerary and the associated activities are very well chosen, and the captain adapts based on the weather and our wishes. The snorkeling was a bit disappointing, but we had done some magnificent snorkeling in Egypt. People for whom this would be the first time should enjoy it. This was our third catamaran cruise, and the services on this one were by far the best.

    Perfect

    Automatically translated.

Beyond my expectations. Everything was perfect. A top-notch crew: the captain was very discreet, Kay was always there to answer our questions, accompany us ashore, serve us coffee, and help us back onto the boat, and Ice, always smiling, prepared a gastronomic stay for us!
Morning stops to escape the heat, and a sumptuous breakfast upon our return!
I’ve searched hard, but I can’t find anything negative!

    Everything was perfect

Superb organization, very good welcome. The boat is spacious, the cabins are pleasant. Captain Sunny and his wife Milky are very welcoming. Milky is an excellent cook who treated us well.
The program is varied, we saw magnificent sites. The only small downside, independent of the captain's will, was the stop at Koh Phi Phi where we could hear music all night, especially when the wind comes from the land.
Thank you again to the whole team for our wonderful stay.

    Superb cruise

A big thank you to the crew who remained discreet and efficient. Milk's cooking was excellent, we would have loved to have seconds. Despite their efforts, the crew would benefit from speaking better English.

    Unforgettable 💫

An exceptional cruise, everything was well organized from start to finish. Captain Sunny, his wife Milk, and the crew member Mister M. accompanied us wonderfully every day. The landscapes and activities were varied, everything was done to make our cruise unforgettable. The boat is well equipped (bean bags, paddle, kayak, masks, and snorkel) available for use, the cabins are basic but clean and comfortable. Thank you 🤩

    Andaman sea cruise

    Automatically translated.

Very warm welcome on site; very good Thai crew, charming and competent; I could have done without the two destinations, Phi Phi Island on the port side and the restaurant stop for which we were not consulted. Too many tourists and too much noise. We could have chosen the other restaurant at the end of the beach. The snorkeling spots were well chosen with quality anchorage proposals; the cabins are well organized and the beds are very good. I would recommend this organization.

Magnificent adventure in the andaman islands

    Automatically translated.

The Amadeus boat is very functional, very clean, well equipped (Wi-Fi on board, paddles, sea kayaks, and bean bags on the front net, etc.) and well maintained.
The crew, Captain Sony, his wife Miu, a true gourmet cook, and Bus the very attentive assistant. All three are very professional with a real team spirit, multitasking, and very friendly (everything we miss since we have been living in India for a few years!)
This getaway was fantastic despite somewhat capricious weather.

    Exceptional thailand cruise

Everything is very well organized, the team on board, Captain Lon, Christina the cook, and Keeta the sailor were superb with us. Always smiling and pleasant while being discreet. It was truly a magical experience, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the meals were delicious.

Beautiful cruise in the andaman sea

    Automatically translated.

During this cruise, we discovered a different island every day. Thanks to the kayaks, we enjoyed the wonderful coastlines, where we went snorkeling to admire the underwater scenery, and went to the island with the dinghy from the catamaran. The crew was very attentive to our well-being. And all the meals prepared by the cook were delicious, a chance to taste Thai cuisine!

  • 5

    Luxury cruise

    Automatically translated.

Very luxurious cruise with a wonderful crew that meets every need and even anticipates them. Modern yacht, with additional equipment available for guests such as SUPs, kayaks, fins, and relaxation areas. Delicious food on board (the best I had in Thailand), full of seafood and fresh products, additionally tailored to dietary allergies and exclusions of guests. Beautiful scenery of the islands. On the downside, there was little sailing (we encountered windless weather), very long distances between the islands, and lack of air conditioning.

  • 5

Very good program with a very good crew, top skipper and cook!

Delighted with the stay, no criticism to make, very well designed program and very great kindness from the crew.

Perfect cruise in the andaman sea

    Automatically translated.

Perfect catamaran cruise for a maximum of 8 people in the Andaman Sea where you will discover the jewels of southern Thailand like you have never seen them without a boat: the slow approach to the islands and islets, the sumptuous sunrises and sunsets in almost deserted anchorages, being able to sleep in these isolated places rocked by the sound of the waves, being there before the crowds of tourists or staying after them. Fishing while trolling, sunbathing on the trampoline at the front of the boat during navigation hours, watching the crew maneuver under sail, exploring the underwater world of these isolated islands while snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The timing of 6 days/5 nights for our cruise was perfect, the cabins on the boat are very comfortable, it is not hot at night as we can easily ventilate them. The comfort is really very good and having only 8 passengers maximum on the catamaran is, in our opinion, a big advantage. Finally, the best for last: how is it possible to perfectly succeed in a 6 days/5 nights cruise without a wonderful crew? It's simple: it's not possible. Our captain Sunee is a very great professional at sea, it shows that he knows the Andaman Sea. Always ready to explain navigation, to give advice for the best snorkeling spots. Supported by Bus, his crew member of unparalleled calm, attentive to the passengers and at work during maneuvers. Finally, Milk will take you on a journey you certainly do not expect within Thai cuisine! We never thought we would have dishes and meals of such quality on board. Thank you to Flo for sharing this cruise with us and for managing his company as he does, with professionalism and humanity.

    A varied cruise

    Automatically translated.

A varied itinerary that satisfies all tastes. We really enjoyed being with a good skipper and an excellent cook. I would recommend it for those who want to enjoy these places away from the crowd in complete relaxation. The organization was more than good, both before and after the cruise.

A wonderful cruise in the south

    Automatically translated.

A big thank you to GlobeSailor who found us a cruise solution 2 weeks before departure. The contacts were quick and efficient.
We hesitated between the Northern islands, which are very crowded with tourists, and those in the South. How lucky we were to see the Southern ones as there are fewer tourists.
The welcome was very pleasant, and since there were only 2 couples, we had plenty of space at our disposal. If you can get one of the 2 large cabins on the Amadeus, it's more enjoyable.
Even though the boat is not very new, it is in great condition.
The captain is very attentive to the clients and easily adapts the program according to their wishes.
The cook, Milk, is a true gourmet chef. We were really spoiled.
The young "Bass" was always there to lend a hand and accompany us on excursions.
If you are divers with tanks, they can even organize a trip where a diving club picks you up directly from the catamaran. The company takes care of everything.
From start to finish, it was TOP and we sincerely recommend this cruise!

    Cruise in the andaman sea

    Automatically translated.

A cruise where it's good to let yourself be carried away. The landscapes are sublime and very authentic. The excursions are very well chosen. The catamaran has 4 cabins ideal for 4 couples. We are 3 single friends sharing the boat with an American and his daughter. In total, 5 people plus the crew, which makes the space very comfortable. The captain is professional and friendly. Always aiming to satisfy his clients. The cook is frankly great! Lots of choices in the food and the preparation of typically Thai dishes, pure happiness! The deckhand is perfect, present but discreet, very attentive to our needs. Nothing to complain about. I loved it!

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use those services as an addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • What are the necessary documents for a trip to Thailand?

Before your departure for your cruise in Thailand, it is important to check the validity date of your passport. This one must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Thailand.

Attention: it is imperative to contact your Embassy before your departure to know the modalities of entry into the country according to your dates of stay and your nationality.
  • Is there a minimum age required to embark on this cruise?

For comfort and safety reasons, the minimum age required to embark on this cruise is 12 years old. We also recommend that children know how to swim or are familiar with water. If your children are younger, our team is at your disposal to help you find a more suitable cruise.
  • What vaccines are recommended for travel to Thailand?

For a trip to Thailand, we advise you to check if you are up to date with your vaccines, such as universal vaccinations (DTCP, hepatitis B), and hepatitis A (absolutely essential).
Other vaccines are recommended, such as typhoid (essential, except perhaps for a very short stay in Bangkok.) For long or rural stays, the rabies vaccine is recommended. We advise you to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs www.diplomatie.gouv.fr before traveling abroad.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat? What about provisioning?

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus will meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat.
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
  • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made:
    • up to 90 days before departure = 30%
    • 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%
    • 59 to 45 days before departure = 75%
    • 44 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking.

We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
