Fly to Madagascar and explore its neighbouring islands. You will sail for 6 days on the Indian Ocean, to discover the archipelagos of Radama or Mitsio. The last islands are great places for diving, with an impressive marine biodiversity. Their waters are full of colourful corals, exotic fish and sea turtles. One will offer you paradisiacal sceneries with endless sandbanks and magnificent beaches, the other will let you discover a luxuriant nature, Malagasy villages and wonderful landscapes. Come aboard Sea Spirit, a Lagoon 380 of 11.50 meters long and 6.50 meters wide. This catamaran was designed to provide maximum comfort. Its saloon will welcome you for pleasant meals inside, and its aft cockpit is ideal for socializing over a drink. You will be able to relax on the sunbeds at the front of the boat while enjoying the view.

This catamaran has 4 double cabins, 2 of which are smaller at the bow. It can accommodate up to 8 people. All cabins are equipped with a porthole and storage. You will have 2 bathrooms at your disposal to share with all passengers.

DAY 1: Nosy Be - Nosy Iranja
The crew is waiting for you at 1pm for boarding. After getting your bearings on the boat, the skipper hoists the sails in the direction of Nosy Iranja which you will arrive at after 5h30 of sailing. This island is one of the most famous of the archipelago because of its beauty. It is composed of two islets linked by a sandbank and surrounded by turquoise water: a dream setting for numerous nautical activities. Night at anchor.

DAY 2: Nosy Iranja - Nosy Antanimora (approx. 3 hours of sailing)
After a good breakfast, you will go diving on the cliffs off Nosy Iranja. You take to the sea again in the afternoon to make a stop at Nosy Antanimora, and visit its small fishing village. Night at anchor.

DAY 3: Nosy Antanimora - Nosy Kalakajoro
Early departure for the morning dive, sailing to various dive sites such as Greg Wall or the Cyclone Bank. You will meet many marine species such as anemones, sharks or giant gorgonians. After lunch, the boat sets sail for Nosy Kalakajoro, the highest island of the Radama. Take advantage of this peaceful place to relax on the beach or to refresh yourself in the water. You will also visit its charming fishermen's village. Night at anchor.

DAY 4: Nosy Kalakajoro - Baramahamay
Your journey continues off Kalakajoro for diving and swimming stops. You will take advantage of the sailing to admire the paradisiacal landscapes and to relax on the sunbeds. You will arrive in the early afternoon at Baramahamay, next to the Ambariomena bay where you will meet the villagers and visit the school. Night at anchor.

DAY 5: Baramahamay - Nosy Iranja - Nosy Ankazoberavina - Russians' Bay
You leave at dawn to return to Nosy Iranja. This is an opportunity to discover the island and its lighthouse and enjoy its beautiful beach. You then sail to Nosy Ankazoberavina, a small island where many animal species live, you might even see some lemurs! You take your way back in the evening to go and take shelter in Russians' Bay for the night. Night at the anchorage.

DAY 6: Russians' Bay - Nosy Tanikely - Nosy Be
For your last day, you leave early and reach Nosy Tanikely for a last dive or swim in this underwater reserve. You will dive in translucent water in the middle of corals where various marine species live like rays, turtles or dolphins, a real paradise! You will disembark at Nosy Be after lunch at about 3pm.

DAY 1: Nosy Be - Nosy Faly
The crew is waiting for you at 1pm for boarding. After getting your bearings on the boat, the skipper hoists the sails in the direction of Nosy Faly where you will arrive at the end of the day after 4.5 hours of sailing. Night at anchor.

DAY 2: Nosy Faly - Nosy Mitsio
Your first morning on board, you wake up in the fabulous setting of Nosy Faly. Nature flourishes on this island, as it is very well maintained by the locals and little impacted by tourism. You will be able to walk around to discover the fauna and flora or go diving. You continue your journey towards Nosy Mitsio, the main island of the Mitsios, where you will drop anchor on the village of Marimbe, which you can visit. Night at anchor.

DAY 3 : Nosy Mitsio - Nosy Lava
Early departure for the morning dive, on different sites such as the Beaver Bank. This afternoon, you will go to Nosy Lava, the northernmost island of the archipelago. Enjoy the calm of this place for a moment of relaxation on the beach or take masks and snorkels to explore the sea bed! Night at anchor.

DAY 4: Nosy Lava - Nosy Ankarea - Nosy Mitsio
After a good breakfast, you go to the top of the island for a morning dive. You then sail to the small island of Nosy Ankarea. Its large white sand beach is the ideal place to bask in the sun. It is also an opportunity to snorkel or explore the island and its nature. You will return to Nosy Mitsio at Marimbe to spend the night.

DAY 5: Nosy Mitsio - Nosy Sakatia
This morning you will explore the sea bed during a dive. In the afternoon, you will sail back to Nosy Sakatia, a small peaceful island with fishermen's villages and a very protected ecosystem. Night at anchor.

DAY 6: Nosy Sakatia - Nosy Be
For your last day, you leave early for Nosy Be for a diving or snorkelling trip. Enjoy one last session of sunbathing on the boat and admire the unforgettable landscapes. You will disembark at Nosy Be after lunch at about 3pm.

  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

    Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
    Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How are my meals organised on board the boat?

    During your cruise, you benefit from the full board package, including breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Soft drinks and alcohol are not included. Please check the terms and conditions of your quote. Your consultant will be able to provide you with the menus offered on board. They are often prepared with fresh and local products. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or if you have a special diet.
  • How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

    Transfers from the airport to the boat and back are not included in your package. However, your GlobeSailor advisor can offer them as an additional service. The payment of this service is generally to be made to GlobeSailor at the time of the payment of the balance or directly on the spot in cash. Don't forget to inform your consultant of your arrival time.
  • Can I book flights or accommodation in addition to my cruise?

    YES! Our travel agency offers all our clients embarking on a cruise to book their flights or accommodations. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and budget.

  • What are the recommended vaccines for Madagascar?

    For a trip to Madagascar, we advise you to check if you are up to date with your vaccines such as universal vaccines (DTPP, hepatitis B) and hepatitis A.

    Other vaccines are to be carried out such as:
    - typhoid fever;
    - yellow fever; mandatory only if you plan to travel to continental black Africa before or after your cruise
    - rabies; for stays in remote areas or long stays.
  • What are the payments required to confirm my reservation?

    To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option for you to collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), from 30 to 50% of the reservation amount. A 100% deposit will be required for any reservation made within one month of departure. The balance is due no later than 45 days before the date of embarkation.
  • What happens in the event of a cancellation?

    In case of cancellation, you must inform your GlobeSailor consultant as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of the amount of your reservation.
