Seychelles

DAY 1 : Marina Eden Island (Mahé) - Sainte-Anne Marine National Park (about 1h)
You're scheduled to board at 1:00 p.m.* at the Eden Island Marina. After dropping off your belongings in your cabin, you will be given a quick briefing on the itinerary and safety rules to follow. The skipper will then set sail for Sainte-Anne. On the spot, we will offer you the opportunity to visit the island's marine reserve (at no extra charge). You will be able to observe the seabed and discover its wonders. Night at anchor.

DAY 2 : Sainte-Anne Marine National Park - Coco Island - La Digue (about 4h)
You're heading towards Coco Island and its incredible natural aquarium. On arrival, you will take out flippers, masks and snorkels to swim in crystal clear water, populated by thousands of multicoloured fish (parrot fish, leopard rays, surgeonfish...). The day continues with a short crossing that takes you to the island of La Digue and its beaches dotted with granite rocks. Night at anchor or in the port, depending on the weather.

DAY 3 : La Digue (about 1h)
Today, you have free time to explore La Digue at your own pace and according to your wishes. Some will criss-cross this relaxed island by bicycle (optional) or in ox-carts, while others will prefer to stroll on heavenly beaches lined with coconut palms. The most courageous will attempt the ascent of the Eagle's Nest mountain to admire the panoramic view of the ocean. Night at anchor.

DAY 4 : La Digue - Cousin - Baie de Sainte-Anne (Praslin) (about 2h)
The skipper weighs anchor to take you to visit Cousin Island (no extra charge). A nature reserve since 1968, Cousin is the sanctuary of many species of tropical birds and giant turtles. After lunch, you set sail for Praslin. You will have the opportunity to explore the Vallée de Mai (optional on-site guide), a UNESCO protected site. This walk in the heart of a particularly dense flora hardly lets any daylight through, a guaranteed change of scenery! Night at anchor.

DAY 5 : Sainte-Anne Bay - Big Sister - Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour (Praslin) (about 3h)
You land on the little private island of Big Sister. While you sunbathe on the beach, your hostess will prepare a delicious barbecue (depending on the weather). You will have the afternoon to explore the coral reefs that surround this paradise island or play the adventurer in a wild nature. Night at anchor in Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour.

DAY 6 : Curieuse - Saint-Pierre - Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin) (about 1h30)
You will discover Curieuse and its hundreds of giant turtles. The latter can weigh up to 300 kg and live nearly 150 years according to some specialists. Snorkeling enthusiasts will be delighted to arrive in Saint-Pierre, a small uninhabited island that looks like a pile of granite blocks and coconut trees. The clear water that surrounds it will reveal a spectacle played by an exceptional underwater life. Night at anchor at Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin).

DAY 7 : Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin) - Anse Major or Port Launay (Mahé) (about 3 to 4h)
Take advantage of the morning to go kayaking, swimming or just relax on Praslin's beautiful beaches with a good book. After lunch, sail back to Mahé. Depending on the weather, you will stop at Anse Major or Port Launay in the north-west of the island. Night at anchor.

DAY 8 : Anse Major - Silhouette (about 1 to 2h)
How about starting the day with a walk along the coast, followed by a refreshing, well-deserved swim? This walk will also be an opportunity to get out your camera and immortalize this postcard landscape. The captain hoists the sails and sets the helm in the direction of Silhouette. Night at anchor.

DAY 9 : Silhouette - Beau Vallon (Mahé) (about 2 to 3 hours)
Welcome to Silhouette, a 25 km² island classified as a National Park. It perfectly combines idleness on dream beaches and wild nature. You can also take a hike in the middle of a tropical forest to reach Mount Dauban, which culminates at 740 meters above sea level. Back on board, your journey continues in the bay of Beau Vallon. Night at anchor.

DAY 10 : Beau Vallon - Marina Eden Island (Mahé) (about 4h)
Discover Beauvallon, a magnificent white sandy beach, nestled in a nature reserve. Relax, enjoy some snorkeling, kayaking or swimming! After lunch your crew will bring you to the marina at Eden Island. This marina is one of the most prestigious private marinas in the world. Make the most of the lively atmosphere with bars, restaurants and shops...

Relaxing break in a wonderful environment hosted by excellent crew

Great relaxing cruise through the various islands of Seychelles with lots of swimming and various interesting land excursions.
Claude was a very professional Captain and Terence a tremendous cook preparing delicious meals in great variety using different cuisines.
Catamaran comfortable other than the air conditioning being off during night time (there must be another solution to this).
Certain discrepancies between the written information provided pre-cruise and the actual situation on board or site but working mainly in favour for customers.
Would gladly consider to do a similar cruise again maybe in another part of the world.

    Perfect experience

    Automatically translated.

It is the first time we traveled with other people and especially it was the first time on a sailing boat. We are excited about the choice, we firmly believe that it is the best way to visit the Seychelles: every day a different place with the comfort of arriving at the spot guided by experienced people who know every corner of the islands. Highly recommended! We would gladly have other experiences around the world with this formula!

    First yacht trip, very satisfied

    Automatically translated.

Our first yacht holiday took us to the Seychelles. Boat: Lagoon 620 - sufficient cabin, plenty of communal space inside and outside. The itinerary was individual because the skipper wanted us to sleep in the wind shadow of the islands. Good thing. All promised highlights: Silhouette, Curieuse with the large turtles, Cousine Island with many mosquitoes and birds (and an unplanned turtle hatching in broad daylight), Praslin, La Digue, and a picnic on Grand Sister were included, along with many good snorkeling spots. Catering: Simple, often freshly caught, good, plentiful.
Company: 4 Americans, 2 Spaniards, one Swiss, 2 Germans. English was spoken. At short notice, a couple of guests were swapped because predominantly French was spoken on a parallel boat - they pay attention to matching guests.
Everyone except us had experience with yacht holidays - we will do it again.
Negative: Advertising: 11 days, 10 nights. Start at 3 PM, return 9 days later at 5 PM and another night at the dock on Eden Island, so 9 1/2 days, 10 nights. The time was still worth it.

    Overall good experience

    Automatically translated.

The boat is very comfortable, although there are some details regarding certain noises from water pumps or generators that can be a bit bothersome. The food on the boat has always been excellent. The itinerary was generally very good, of course, with great beaches and snorkeling. Some visits were not as interesting and even unnecessary. The last night on the boat feels excessive; you arrive at the marina at 4:00 PM with nothing to do, which gives the impression that it's just to fill in and allow for one more night. Some days could have made better use of time. Overall, it is highly recommended, but I think there are details that should be improved.

    Dreamlike sailing trip

    Automatically translated.

    Travel date: 03.-13.02.2025
    Travel area: Seychelles Islands
Boat: Lagoon 620, built in 2019

    Quick and well-organized check-in
We were able to store one of our suitcases in the office.
Only 3 of the 6 cabins were occupied. This gave us a luxurious amount of space on the catamaran.
Nice fellow sailors. We had a lot of fun together on the sailing trip.
The skipper was very professional, responsible, committed, very friendly, open, and informative.
The cook is also a very good, motivated, and professional chef. He responded very well to our wishes. Whenever possible, the fishing lines were cast, which almost always led to success. The fish was immediately filleted and processed. The cook prepared excellent bonito carpaccio several times. It doesn't get fresher than that. The food was varied and plentiful despite a lot of fish. Generally, meat is expensive, limited in availability, and of restricted quality in the Seychelles; while fish is good, cheap, and fresh available everywhere.
For breakfast, there were homemade baked goods. When the oven didn't work once, the skipper and the cook took the dinghy with the baking tray to the neighboring boat and baked there.
The catamaran was well-maintained, clean, and in a condition appropriate for its age. The skipper always made a great effort to resolve problems immediately, as far as possible with onboard resources.
During our bike trip on La Digue, our catamaran was thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the base in Praslin.
When the generator and thus the air conditioning are turned off at night, it quickly becomes stuffy in the cabin. To remedy this, fans are available, powered by the onboard battery and inverter. You also have 3 windows that can be opened. However, these must be closed quickly when it starts to rain to avoid water damage in the cabin.
Fellow travelers from the front part of the boat complained of a slight sewage smell from the air conditioning. This seems to be a general problem with this type of boat and is structurally conditioned. In our cabin, almost all drawers were stuck. A technician notices many things on the boat that could have been better solved structurally.
Overall, it was a dreamlike sailing trip that we will fondly remember for a long time.
Thanks again to the crew, who contributed a lot to this beautiful journey.

    Cruise in seychelles 14-24.07.24

    Automatically translated.

I rate the cruise with Dream Yacht Cabins very highly. The technical condition raised no objections, everything on the Lagoon 620 yacht functioned properly. The port and charter base were excellent. In my opinion, the operator should provide transportation for the client to the port. The quality of service and communication were satisfactory. Issues reported to the staff were resolved promptly. The cruise was delayed by 2 hours compared to the time stated in the offer, which I view negatively. As for the attractiveness of the destination itself, I can only say one thing: paradise on Earth.

    Unforgettable discovery of the seychelles

    Automatically translated.

Skipper Bevil and cook Mike made a great team to help us discover, in my opinion, the best way possible, the Seychelles. Always very professional and competent, they managed to deal with the not-so-easy January weather so that all participants from three different nationalities had a dream stay.

    Cruise in seychelles

    Automatically translated.

We had a magical vacation. The catamaran was new and of excellent quality, the chef prepared different delicious dishes and desserts every day, taking into account that there were, besides regular people, a vegan, someone with a gluten allergy, and another with a lactose allergy. Everyone found the food very tasty. The captain showed us around, told us stories, and was very pleasant to talk to. We explored the islands, walked through parks, and enjoyed the giant tortoises. Everything was great.

The only downside was the organizer; we were trying to find out how and where to get the best internet, and we were told to get a SIM card at the airport. 100GB cost 500 euros there. However, other people who arranged their entry permit online and bought the SIM card there paid six times less. Plus, we were not informed about the entry permit itself. We had to arrange it right at the airport before boarding and ended up paying 140 euros instead of 20 for the urgency. Other than that, I believe that a trip on a catamaran is the best way to visit Seychelles. You get to see a lot and immerse yourself in the place. Plus, you immediately gather a group of people to socialize with, so you definitely won't be bored alone. I highly recommend it.

    A cruise in the seychelles

    Automatically translated.

Wonderful islands and extraordinary beaches, unforgettable snorkeling. A top-notch catamaran. Great atmosphere. Three points to review. Pasta every lunchtime is repetitive, we missed more diverse meals representative of these islands. We would have liked to sail more than to use the engine, the weather was suitable for it. The organization of the crew and the air conditioning being too cold prevented us from enjoying the indoor lounge. Nice cruise.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use those services as an addition to my cruise?

Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • What documents are required for your trip to the Seychelles?

French nationals must be in possession of a valid passport and your return or onward ticket.
A visa is not required for stays of less than 3 months.

This information is subject to change by the authorities of the country visited. It is not uncommon for border crossing rules to change. We therefore strongly advise you to refer to the "travel advice" section of the France Diplomatie website: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/.
  • What are the recommended vaccinations to go to the Seychelles?

What are the recommended vaccinations to go to the Seychelles?

No vaccine is mandatory but some are recommended (diphtheria-tetanus-polio (DTP); rubella-mumps-measles (MMR) in children; tuberculosis vaccination is also desirable).
Vaccinations against typhoid fever and hepatitis A and B are also sometimes suggested.

    WARNING!
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for all travellers from countries where there is a risk of transmission (a list of which can be found at the following link: http://www.who.int/ith/chapters/ithchapterannex1FR.pdf). A valid international vaccination certificate must be presented upon arrival in the Seychelles.

Before travelling abroad, we advise you to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs www.diplomatie.gouv.fr.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • Is there a minimum age required to embark on this cruise?

For comfort and safety reasons, the minimum age required to embark on this cruise is 6 years old. We also recommend that children know how to swim or are familiar with water. If your children are younger, our team is at your disposal to help you find a more suitable cruise.
  • How does a cruise with a skipper and a hostess work?

All the skippers we propose are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Don't hesitate to take part in the manoeuvres with him, he will be delighted to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organization, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins).
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
