Seychelles

DAY 1 : Mahé (Seychelles) - Sainte-Anne Marine National Park
Meet at 12pm in Eden Island Marina (about 10 min drive from the airport) to board your catamaran. After depositing your luggage in your cabin, you will meet the crew and your crew members. You will then attend a short safety briefing.
In the afternoon, the skipper hoists the sails and sets sail for the Sainte-Anne National Marine Park. This will be the opportunity to make a first dive and to swim in the middle of a myriad of fish (angelfish, parrotfish, stingray...). Dinner and overnight at anchor.

DAY 2 to 7 : Cruise.
Head to Cousin for a stopover in harmony with nature. Once privately owned, this island was bought in 1968 by the National Council for the Protection of Birds. It is now a sanctuary for more than 300,000 birds (terns, warblers, turtles, etc.) and a hundred or so giant tortoises. This little corner of paradise will delight birdwatching enthusiasts.

You reach La Digue considered by many as one of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago. To visit it, nothing could be easier! You can choose to walk its paths, ride in ox carts or rent a bike to go all around the island. And if you want to learn more about the island's history head to Union Estate, a former coconut and vanilla plantation.

Head to Praslin with its unmissable and splendid Vallée de Mai. This tropical forest has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. It is composed of endemic palm trees (about 30 metres high) with giant leaves and provided with the famous coco de mer (also nicknamed coco-fesse because of its distinctive shape). You will have the opportunity to explore this unique paradise on a guided hike. In the south-east of the island, you can also enjoy a swim in St Anne's Bay.

A few miles from Praslin, you will find the uninhabited island Curieuse, a true sanctuary for giant land turtles. Some of them are actually over 200 years old! You can walk its 3 km² along its paths and discover beautiful granite landscapes. It's also the perfect place to get out your fins, mask and snorkel and swim with hundreds of fish, or simply lay your towel on the beach and relax.

Your cruise continues to the shores of Coco Island, whose seabed consistently fascinates all snorkelers (surgeon fish, parrot fish, leopard rays...). On the island, you will find the famous granite boulders of the Seychelles. This is the opportunity to take out your camera and take the most beautiful pictures!

South of Coco, you will discover the pretty Félicité. This coral island will captivate you with its dense and wild vegetation. The peaceful atmosphere of its beaches lined with hundreds of palm trees and the purest turquoise water invite you to relax.

DAY 8 : Mahé (Seychelles)
Your disembarkation is scheduled after breakfast, around 8am.

  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
