The bali 4.1 is an excellent boat for socializing. It is very spacious and the front areas was excellent for lounging around and sun bathing. Boat was super well equipped, with an inverter and Nespresso coffee machine full fridge freeze. In return for this comfort, it is less of a pure sailing boat. And obviously it does not heel as its a catamaran. Powerful engines give you full control. South of France is excellent location especially if you want to have one meal a day on shore, Plenty of places to go in one week or two. But clearly ashore is a bit pricy compared to Western med. Port Grimaud was a good starting point, there is a very large supermarket 2 miles away for provisioning. And the marina is a fun place to be for the last night with restaurants and beach. The team in the marina, were great and very friendly. Despite my very poor French they were able to give me a full briefing in English. Boat was super clean in these covid times.

Everything was ready for checkin...went fast. We got our preliminary questions answered. Could have spent more time with GPS plotter. A captain friend took us out of Port Grimaud and gave us many useful tips concerning anchorage and such which came in extremely handy for departure and return to port.

I could not recommend this company more they were amazing. Before arriving I was worried that things might not be right as I booked in Australia over the internet. The owners that run the business could not do enough for us. We will be using them again and recommending them to all our friends. Listen to their guidance as they recommend where we should visit which we did and it was amazing.
