Seychelles

Day 1 - Mahé – St. Anne Marine Park
Your catamaran and crew await at Mahé. Step aboard in the early afternoon and then sail to the Sainte Anne Marine National Park where you will spend the rest of the day and evening.

Day 2 - St. Anne Marine Park – Cocos Island – La Digue
This morning your skipper will sail towards Cocos Island where you can try a spot of snorkeling or swiming in this natural aquarium. Spend the night at La Digue where you will moor in front of the port or the next one along, depending on the weather conditions.

Day 3 - La Digue
Today we highly recommend a visit around the island by bike (at a supplementary cost). It has many winding pathways, traditional houses, perfect white sandy beaches, unique rock formations - this island is really one of the most beautiful in the Seychelles. Moor here for the night.

Day 4 - La Digue – Cousin – St. Anne Bay (Praslin)
Day 4 and it is time to set sail to Cousin island where you can enjoy a visit around this stunning nature reserve. It is home to many different species of birds as well as giant turtles. After lunch, navigate towards Praslin where you can explore the Mai Valley (optional on-site guide), a UNESCO protected site.

Day 5 - Baie St. Anne – Grande Sœur – Curieuse or Anse Petite cour (Praslin)
Today you head towards Grande Soeur and its exceptional beach where your crew can prepare a BBQ for you! Relax, explore the island and its many winding trails and pathways, or enjoy some water sports. Moor at Curieuse or at Anse Petite Cour for the night.

Day 6 - Curieuse – Saint Pierre – Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin)
Enjoy a relaxed morning to discover Curieuse. This island is part of the Marine National Park and it is home to hundreds of giant turtles. After lunch you will sail to Saint Pierre with its unique giant rock formation and grand palm trees, a typical landscape of the Seychelles. It is a top spot to try some snorkeling. Moor at Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio, Praslin.

Day 7 - Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin) – Mahé
Water sports and swimming is on the cards today, on the beautiful beaches of Praslin. Lunch on board and then sail towards Mahé in the afternoon. Enjoy dinner and moor at Anse Major or Port Launay depending on the weather conditions.

Day 8 - Anse Major - Silhouette
Anse Major is situated to the north west of Mahé in a very secluded spot which is accessible only by boat. A wild and stunning landscape, where the waters surpass words. Then you will set sail for Silhouette after lunch, and spend the night moored here.

Day 9 - Silhouette – Beauvallon Mahé
30km to the north west of Mahé, the island of Silhouette emerges out of the Indian Ocean. Its mountains covered in tropical foliage, palm trees and its stunning beaches make it the perfect paradise island. Formed of granite rock and 25km², Silhouette is the best kept secret of the Seychelles. At the beginning of the afternoon you will sail to Beauvallon in Mahé. Enjoy dinner and the night moored at Port Launay.

Day 10 - Beauvallon - Mahé Eden Island

After lunch your crew will bring you to the marina at Eden Island. This marina is one of the most prestigious private marinas in the world. Make the most of the lively atmosphere with bars, restaurants and shops...

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use those services as an addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat?

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What currency is used in the Seychelles?

The local currency in the Seychelles is the Seychellois Rupee. In June 2015 1 € = 14.40 SCR and 10 SCR = 0.70 €.
It is possible to pay in Euros or Dollars for accommodation, transport, some restaurants and tourist sites however of course the change will be given to you in rupees.
Credit cards, Visa and Mastercard principally, are excepted in most places, as well as travelers cheques in larger businesses.
You cannot leave the Seychelles with more than 2,000 Rupees in cash.
  • What documents are needed in order to travel to the Seychelles?

You do not need a Visa for stays of up to 3 months in the Seychelles, however you should have a valid passport, be able to prove you have sufficient funds and present a return ticket.
