Maldives exploration
Our boat charter was fantastic. We got to explore the Maldives in a unique way that most do not. Immersed in culture, meeting new friends, awesome experiences, it was almost dream like. The captain and chef were amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and courteous. I highly recommend this to anyone even contemplating it.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is everyone on board English-speaking?
Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service. -
What documents are required for your trip to the Maldives?
French nationals must be in possession of a passport, valid for 6 months after the date of return. For a stay of less than 30 days, French nationals will be given a visa delivered free of charge upon presentation of: a passport valid for another 6 months after the date of return, a valid return ticket from the Maldives and a hotel reservation confirmation (or failing that, proof of sufficient resources for the duration of the stay: 100 USD + 50 USD per day).
This information is subject to change by the authorities of the country visited. It is not uncommon for border crossing rules to change. -
How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organized?
Transfers to and from the airport and back to the boat are compulsory. You will be met at the airport by a driver who will take you to the port. On arrival you will be picked up by a member of our team who will take you to the catamaran on a speed boat.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information. -
Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?
We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service. -
How does a crewed cruise work?
All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Don't hesitate to take part in the manoeuvres with him, he will be delighted to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organization, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins).
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract). -
How are meals on board organized?
During your cruise, you will benefit from the full board formula including: breakfasts, lunches and dinners. These are organized and prepared by the hostess/cook. Softs and alcoholic beverages are not included, but can be added as a supplement. Please check the terms and conditions of your quote carefully. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or if you are on a special diet. -
What's included in the on-board cash box?
The following items are included in the board cash box:- Payment of taxes in the national parks
- Tourist taxes and landing fees in the islands
- Mooring and mooring fees at certain ports of call
- The cost of any additional supplies of: fresh water, fuel, gas, fresh produce...
