Itinerary of your cruise

Please note that due to the Covid health crisis, an alternative itinerary is being proposed from Anse-Marcel beach (Saint Martin). Your GlobeSailor consultant will send you details of this alternative programme.

Our professional crew will take you in the footsteps of Christopher Columbus. You will discover exotic landscapes, colourful islands and a relaxing Creole atmosphere

Map
Antilles

DAY 1: Anse Marcel (Saint-Martin) - Grand Case (Saint-Martin) (about 30 minutes sailing time)
Meet at 6 pm in the Lonvilliers marina (located at the end of Anse Marcel) for your boarding. You will meet the crew and your fellow passengers over a welcome cocktail. The skipper will brief you on the cruise course, the stopovers and the safety instructions before setting sail for Grand Case. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 2: Grand Case – Tintamarre – Île Fourchue (about 4 hours sailing)
After breakfast, you sail to Tintamarre. This 100-hectare island, now uninhabited, is located northeast of St. Martin and part of its Nature Reserve. The many footpaths that cross it will lead you to an old 19th-century cotton plantation, a railway, and even an airfield. Afterwards, you will head for Île Fourchue (also called Ile Fourche). Its sheltered bay will allow you to wear flippers, masks and snorkel to explore the seabed and swim with magnificent coloured fish. Turtles are also very present near the shore. You can take a pleasant walk along the cliffs and enjoy the view of St Barths.

DAY 3: Île Fourchue - Anse de Colombier (St-Barth) (about 45 minutes sailing time)
You set sail for the island of Saint-Barthélemy and anchor in the Colombier Cove (the island's western tip). This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the white sandy beach. The cove is also particularly suitable for snorkelling. Its transparent water will allow you to observe many fish species and, if you are lucky, turtles. And why not end the day with a walk to the top of a small hill to admire the view? Overnight at anchor.

DAY 4:Anse de Colombier - Gustavia (St-Barth) - Pinel Island (about 3 hours sailing)
This morning, you weigh anchor and continue to discover the beautiful island of St. Barth. The island was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, who named it after his brother. You will stop in Gustavia (the island's capital) for the day. Start by strolling through the port before going to Fort Karl and then to the Gustavia lighthouse. If you wish, you can also rent bicycles and explore the island at your own pace. At the end of the day, you will head for Pinel Island and its magnificent nature reserve. Overnight at anchor.

DAY 5: Pinel Island - Crocus Bay (Anguilla) (about 3 hours sailing)
Wake up and have breakfast, looking at Pinel Island. You will appreciate its turquoise water and white sand, which invites you to relax. The ban on fishing and motorised water sports has made it possible to preserve the diversity and richness of the seabed. While walking around the islet, you will discover breathtaking landscapes. Overnight at anchor.

DAY 6: Crocus Bay – Rendezvous Bay (Anguilla) – Friar’s Bay (Saint-Martin) (about 3 hours of sailing)
You follow the coast southwards to Sandy Island, a real paradise for snorkelers. You then continue on to Rendez-vous Bay, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You have the afternoon to relax, paddle or kayak. A little later, you begin your return journey, stopping for the night at Friar's Bay.

DAY 7: Friar’s Bay - Grand Case (Saint-Martin) (about 1 hour sailing)
Make the most of your morning at Friar's Bay with a stroll along the beach and a swim from the boat. After lunch, go to the island's nature reserve and stop off at Rocher Créole. This incredible diving site is both easily accessible and protected. You will stop in Grand Case for the night. This village considered the gastronomy capital of the Antilles, is dotted with small traditional and colourful houses.

DAY 8: Grand Case - Anse Marcel (about 30 minutes sailing time)
Last navigation to reach the marina of Lonvilliers. Your disembarkation is scheduled after breakfast, around 9 am.

Please note that due to the Covid health crisis, the itinerary may change.

Fantastic boat, great new friends, great hostess, almost perfect.

I have to go with four stars on this for two reasons: 1. The interior description of the cabin did not convey just how small it was. Still awesome though. 2. The captain was not very engaged. Other than that it was an amazing experience and totally worth it. Would absolutley book again. I will say, and this is NO fault of the boat crew or the booking companies, the amount of dead coral and sea life was really a bummer so that alone would prevent a repeat visit to this area for us.

Jederzeit wieder!

Frequently asked questions

  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once your down payment has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How are meals organized on the boat?

Most of our cabin cruises include full board and the services of a hostess - cook. Alcoholic beverages are sometimes extra. Check the terms and conditions of your quotation carefully. On request, your advisor can send you the menus proposed on board. They are often prepared with fresh and local products. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to any food or if you are on a special diet.
  • Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
  • How is my transfer from the airport to the boat organized?

The transfer can be arranged by your GlobeSailor advisor and the base manager by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is generally to be made to GlobeSailor at the time of payment of the balance or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to forward your arrival times to your advisor.

Feel free to participate with him in the manoeuvres, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organisation, the skipper sleeps on the boat, either in a separate cabin or in the saloon. The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing dishes. On request, a hostess (or cook) can prepare your meals, clean the saloon, clean your cabins and more generally ensure that the boat is in good order. all our cabin cruises include the services, at a minimum, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract)
