Cruise the Caribbean aboard a comfortable Lagoon 42, around 13 metres long. The saloon is spacious and bright with portholes offering a beautiful panoramic view. You can enjoy a delicious meal on the cockpit table, sheltered from the sun. The trampolines are perfect for enjoying the view while sailing or relaxing while watching other kitesurfers. Enjoy the ease of getting on and off the boat when swimming with its wide aft skirts. This Lagoon 42 offers the perfect combination of sailing and relaxation and will be the starting point for launching your kite sail.

DAY 1: : Pointe à Pitre (Guadeloupe)
Your crew will welcome you aboard the catamaran at 6:30 p.m. The marina is not far from Pointe à Pitre airport. After a welcome drink shared with your teammates, you will discover your boat and hoist the sails for your first kitesurfing spot the next morning.

DAY 2 to DAY 7
All the kite spots are accessible only by boat and offer unique conditions. On the map, you can see examples of the spots you're likely to visit:

A typical day:
You will wake up under the Caribbean sun and take advantage of the peaceful morning atmosphere to drink coffee or dive into the water for your first swim. You will then enjoy breakfast onboard, discuss the program of the day and cast off towards the kite spot you have chosen. Depending on the location, you may begin your kitesurfing session from the beach or directly from the catamaran - your guides will explain/demonstrate the necessary techniques to you. During your kitesurfing sessions, your guides will observe your progress and join you on the water to provide useful techniques and advice. Spend your evening enjoying the friendly atmosphere onboard, sipping your punch with your teammates and discussing your day. Then enjoy a delicious, well-deserved dinner prepared by the chef onboard.

You don't want to kitesurf every day? No worries, you can simply enjoy a snorkelling session swimming among colourful fish, or test out your balance on the paddle board, or simply relax in the sunshine. During your stopovers, you can explore the islands and stroll through the heart of the villages, stopping at the local markets to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. It's also possible to relax and unwind with yoga sessions onboard - please notify us in advance if you are interested in these sessions.

You will disembark on Saturday morning at around 9 am.

  • Can I book flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?
    YES!
    Our travel agency offers all our customers who embark on a cruise the opportunity to book their flights or accommodation. Our tailor-made offers are adaptable to your needs and your budget.

    We have created two 100% customizable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Reservation of your plane tickets.
    - Extension Service: Reservation of your accommodation (hotel, lodge, villa, etc.) and/or additional activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.) to make the most of your visit.

    Our advisors, destination specialists, will provide the best proposals for your vacation.

  • What payments do I need to make to confirm my reservation?
    To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will pose an option for you while we collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit of 50% of the reservation amount has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card). A 100% deposit will be required for any reservation made within less than 45 days before departure. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before embarkation.

  • Are my transfers to/from the boat included in the price?
    Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor advisor can help you organize them. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

  • How are my meals organised on board?
    Your full board package includes breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Meals are prepared on board by your crew. You will also be provided with snacks (mainly fruit), soft drinks, coffee and tea.
    Alcoholic drinks are charged.
    Meals at the restaurant (two or three) are also not included in the price.

  • Who is the crew on board?
    Three crew members will be on board the catamaran and will accompany you throughout the week:
    - Léa supervises the crew and will make any necessary decisions. She is also one of your kitesurfing coaches.
    - Marco is your skipper. Ask him all your questions about navigation, he will be happy to share his knowledge with you.
    - Julia is the second skipper. She is also a kitesurfing coach and passionate about sport in general.

  • What languages does the crew speak ?
    The crew is of German/Austrian origin and speaks fluent German, English, and Italian.

  • Do I need to bring my kitesurfing equipment?
    You may bring your own kitesurfing equipment. Otherwise, you can rent it on site:
    - €400: kite equipment
    - €450: kite equipment + foil
    - €80: just the board

  • Can I take kitesurfing lessons during the cruise?
    This is entirely possible but it is not included in the price. The prices are as follows
    - 90€/hour: for kitesurfers who are already experienced but want to take an individual lesson
    - €500: for intermediates (4 hours of lessons + equipment rental)
    - €800: for beginners (10 hours + equipment rental)

  • Are we guaranteed wind?
    The winds are constant throughout the region, allowing us to enjoy a safe speed of 20 knots each day.

  • What happens in the event of cancellation?
    In the event of cancellation, you must notify your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be applicable: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// 29 days until departure: 100% of the amount of your reservation.
