Itinerary

Map
Experience some unforgettable moments on the most secluded islands of the Caribbean.
Day 1: Martinique - Bequia (Around 13 hours)
You will board your boat at 6 pm at the marina in Le Marin. After dinner, you will set sail at night across the famous Caribbean Sea. Take advantage of the crossing to admire the two majestic pitons of Saint Lucia. Overnight at sea.

Day 2: Bequia
You will reach Bequia in the morning and will stop off at Admirality Bay. While your skipper takes care of the formalities, you will enjoy a relaxing moment in the sun and swim in this beautiful bay. Have lunch on board and enjoy your free time to explore the largest island of the Grenadines (18 km²). Port Elizabeth, its capital, is particularly lively and charming. As a sign of their attachment to the former colonial power, all the bars in the city have a picture of the Queen of England on display. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3: Bequia - Mayreau (around 4h)
After breakfast, you set sail for Mayreau and its 300 or so inhabitants. Lunch, then free time to explore the island at your leisure. You can take a path on the beach of Saline to reach the unique village of Mayreau, perched on a hill (about 30 min walk). At the top of the hill, you will find a small stone church and a panoramic view of the neighbouring islands. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Mayreau - Tobago Cay (around 30 min)
This day will be one of lounging and relaxing. The skipper sets sail and heads east to the islets of the Tobago Cays. There are five of them (Petit Rameau, Petit Bateau, Baradal, Jamesby and the small coral island of Petit Tabac), which form a protected national park. There are several ways to explore this protected site: snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. Nothing better to end the day than a little nap on the fine sandy beaches.

Optional: Optional: Barbecue evening on the beach with local aperitif and lobster or lambis/fish menu (depending on the season).

Day 5: Tobago Cays - Saint-Vincent (Aproximately 6h)
Your cruise continues to Bequia, where you drop anchor for lunch. You can then go ashore and wander through the fruit and spice stalls of its covered market. In the afternoon you will set sail again for Cumberland Bay. We recommend that you discover this bay by paddle or kayak and finish with a snorkelling session. Those who wish to do so can also explore this wilderness on foot. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6: Saint Vincent - Saint Lucia (Aproximately 5h)
Enjoy your free time to explore this volcanic island. Typical villages, swimming and Caribbean landscapes will punctuate your morning. You will have lunch on the water while the catamaran sails downwind of Saint Lucia, towards the 2 Pitons. Dinner and overnight on board.
(about 2h30 - we recommend that you wear suitable shoes).

Optional: In the morning, you will take a minibus ride (with driver guide) to visit the island of Saint Vincent and admire its most beautiful landscapes. You will finish by crossing a suspension bridge followed by a well-deserved dip in a fresh waterfall.

Day 7: Saint Lucia – Sainte Anne (approximately 9 hours)
Breakfast on board, then free time or guided tour of the island. Back on the boat, you sail to Sainte-Anne (Martinique). You will anchor in front of the Salines beach and its countless coconut trees. This is considered the most beautiful beach on the island by its inhabitants. Dinner and overnight on board.

Optional: We offer you a tour of Saint Lucia by taxi with a guide and a driver. You will visit the village of La Soufrière, the Botanical Garden with its mineral springs and sulphur baths (swimming is possible). You will walk near the crater, between the smoke and the water geysers (approximately 3 hours 30 mins).

Day 8: Sainte-Anne - Le Marin (approximately 30 mins)
Short sail to the marina of Le Marin. You will disembark after breakfast, around 10 am.

Please note that due to the Covid health crisis, some stopovers may be modified.
It is also mandatory to present a complete vaccination record on this cruise

FAQ

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.

The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.

The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
The currency in the Grenadines is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$ or XCD)
In April 2018, 1 € = 3,33 EC$ et 1 EC$ = 0,3 €. However the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Eastern Caribbean dollar is fixed: 1 US$ = 2,70 $EC.
The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is used in 7 other English speaking Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint-Kitts and St. Lucia.
Leave home with US dollars or take cash out from an ATM when you are there. You can find some on most of the islands (except Mayreau), but be warned, they are sometimes out of order!
British and US passport holders don’t need a visa to visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, but you must have a passport valid for at least 6 months. On entry, you will be granted a specified period to stay. If you wish to stay longer, you must apply and pay for an extension of your stay through the St Vincent Immigration Department.
For other nationalities you should consult the advice issued by your government's foreign office.

The Bali 5.4 was a great vessel for charter with 12 guests. Lots of space for passengers to spread out in. Nice accommodation and dining area. Averaged 7.5 to 8.5 kts motor sailing.
Would have been nice to have had more snorkeling opportunities.
Food was marginal
