Itinerary
Set sail from Martinique and discover the most beautiful islands of the Grenadines, including the island of Mustique, famous hideaway of millionaires, and enjoy a taste of the local Caribbean cusine with BBQs on the beach under the palm trees. Your cruise in paradise awaits.
Arrive at the port of Marin in the south of Martinique ready to step aboard your catamaran from 18h. You will be able to get to know your crew and your fellow passengers around a welcome drink. After dinner you will then set sail and begin your journey in the Caribbean sea. You sail along the coast of Saint Lucia during the night and be able to see the outlines of its famous Deux Pitons.
Day 2: Union
You will arrive on the island of Union in the late morning. It is well known for its highest point, Mount Parnassus, which rises to a height of 304 meters. It has two main villages, Ashton and Clifton, which are definitely worth visiting. In those two villages, you will find a beautiful local market, colourful houses and shops which are selling traditional items. You can also use the trails to explore the island and enjoy the landscape. Union's sheltered lagoon is perfect for snorkelling, paddling and swimming. Overnight on board.
Day 3: Union – Mayreau
You will raise the anchor to reach Mayreau, a small island which is barely 4km² but it boasts 2 of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean: Salt Whistle Bay and Saline Bay. Discover the unique village of Old Wall perched up in the hills. It is a very typical Caribbean town with its colourful wooden homes and relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Towards the end of the afternoon you will be able to enjoy relaxing on the beach in perfect tranquility.
Day 4: Mayreau – Tobago Cays
This day you will head for the beautiful Tobago Cays. Fans of snorkelling will be pleasantly surprised: the coral reef is shallow and populated with many colourful fishes, turtles and rays. For lunch or dinner, you will be offered the traditional barbecue which you will eat on the local beach (extra charge: about 40 € per person). All the food is freshly caught and cooked in front of you by the fishermen. Your meal will include salads and fruits, local vegetables, fish or lobsters depending on the season. A real treat! Enjoy this Eden during the afternoon and evening. Night on board.
Day 5: Tobago Cays - Canouan - Bequia
You will have the morning to continue enjoying the beautiful and protected Tobago Cays Marine Park. Then it's time to sail to Canouan. Although a third of this tropical island is occupied by a luxury resort, it is still wild. Here again, the large coral reef and clear waters are ideal for snorkelling. At the end of the afternoon, you will sail back to Bequia, the largest island of the Grenadines. Night on board.
Day 6: Bequia
After a delicious breakfast in front of Bequia, you will set off to discover this island whose history has been known for the whaling. Its capital, Port Elizabeth, is undoubtedly a favourite stopover for any sailor. Its festive atmosphere will lead you from one street to another, to meet the fruit sellers and discover picturesque cafés and small charming family grocery shops. You'll also see its magnificent Anglican church, St Mary's, built in 1829. On the west coast, you will discover the fishing village of Hamilton and its coloured boats, the turtle sanctuary in the south and the whaling museum, as well as the beautiful landscape. Sail by night to the south of Martinique.
Day 7: Sainte-Anne (Martinique)
Day 8: Sainte-Anne - Le Marin
After an early breakfast your catamaran will head back to base at Marin port. You will disembark around 9h.

FAQ
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
In July 2016, 1 € = 2,97 EC$ et 1 EC$ = 0,33 €. However the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Eastern Caribbean dollar is fixed: 1 US$ = 2,70 $EC.
The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is used in 7 other English speaking Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint-Kitts and St. Lucia.
Leave home with US dollars or take cash out from an ATM when you are there. You can find some on most of the islands (except Mayreau), but be warned, they are sometimes out of order!
For other nationalities you should consult the advice issued by your government's foreign office.

- reviewed on 07 february 2021

Tutto molto bello! consigliato.
