    A lovely beach adventure

This trip was fun, informative, and relaxing. Our skipper was great and managed the boat well. The chef on board was a real chef and made amazing food. The boat was clean and provided towels and sheets. Overall a wonderful experience as a solo traveler.

    Perfect trip to the paradise

The boat was in a good shape and well located in the marina. The crew was very nice and the food on the boat was very delicious. The captain gave good briefings about the trip and also some flexibility with the stay on the islands. Overall a perfect trip to relax on a big boat, do some sailing, see great beaches but also local environment like turtles, bird parks, coco de mer woods and many other interesting items.

    Wandering through paradise islands!

    Automatically translated.

Very welcoming crew. We were lucky to be with some nice guests, and even though we initially chose a catamaran with a maximum of 6 cabins, in the end, they put us on one with 12 (terrified because 24 people on board is quite a lot), it turned out fine anyway (at most we were 17 and halfway through the cruise we were even just 9).
The nights were hot because they turned off the generator with the air conditioning.
    Very good food.
Interesting and beautiful islands, as well as great spots for snorkeling.

    Wonderful trip

The best way to enjoy a vacation in Seychelles is undoubtedly on a yacht.
Yacht BACCHUS. The captain is a true professional!!
Special respect to the chef Deni, who prepared simply amazing dishes for us every day. Thank you to these guys for a wonderful vacation.

    Seychelles in a nutshell

    Automatically translated.

Quick adaptation on the yacht, getting to know the cabin, the skipper, the cook, and the other participants of the cruise, and practically off we go. The first anchor near an interesting island and of course dinner at the stern of the catamaran in beautiful natural surroundings with a view of the whole Mahé and the highest mountain range in the area. Nearby, other yachts that set off for a multi-day cruise around the same time. Swimming in the ocean without restrictions, practically at any time of day and night. In the morning, of course, a swim, breakfast, and then swimming to the nearest beach to relax under the palms. Then back to the yacht, anchor up, sails on the mast, and off we go towards Praslin. During the cruise, stops in beautiful bays, snorkeling on the reefs, exploring beautiful deserted islets in the ocean with lush vegetation and interesting birds. Near the larger islands, there are optional excursions (on foot, by bike, or rented transport) to explore picturesque beaches and parks and coexist with really large turtles. Practically everything you could wish for in paradise. As for meals on the yacht, for a few bucks you get really great food and drinks all day long. Regional, European, and Asian cuisine that is definitely not to be overdone. If someone enjoys tasting, they can also taste various drinks and alcohols all day long, but I do not recommend it because then you won't explore anything. I was on an 8-day cruise at the beginning of February, and supposedly this is the rainiest and worst weather in the Seychelles. Believe me, if this is bad weather, you would want to have it all year round in Poland. For 6 days, beautiful sunshine, a blue ocean, and everyone eagerly looking for a little cloud. Only on the 7th day did it lightly drizzle in the afternoon, much to everyone's delight. I think this is the best time for a vacation in this part of the world. Practically during one cruise, everyone will find something for themselves: one sailing, another snorkeling, a third beach, swimming, and excursions. Interestingly, all the islands are mountainous, but here a small peak, e.g., 350 m, impresses like at least 700 m at home because it is seen directly from sea level ;) The highest peak on Mahé, 900 m, impresses like Giewont in the Tatras, all in the scenery of tall coconut palms, sandy beaches, and a blue ocean. In a word, I recommend it. Seychelles checked off, and now it's time for the Pacific. Interestingly, it was a French colony and later British. Although the British were here longer than the French, you will communicate better in French than in English. However, if you know English, you will manage without any problems. You can really have a great adventure sailing around the Seychelles for a relatively reasonable amount.

    Paradise

    Automatically translated.

For us, the destination and the crew were perfect! We did everything included in the itinerary, but we adjusted it according to the weather to make the most of it, and the cook was top-notch!

The only issue was the communication between the individual travel providers and the company on-site; everyone had different information, which was confusing at first. You can only pay in euros or Seychellois rupees there, although we were told in advance that dollars were accepted.

However, it was a dream paradise for us, and we would book it again anytime.

Good crew, good yacht, good program!

    Automatically translated.

We traveled for the first time with VPM. The yacht was in good technical condition, and the captain was competent. Special praise goes to the chef, who provided us with tasty and diverse cuisine throughout the entire cruise. The route and program of the cruise were very interesting, and this is certainly a big advantage of this type of cabin cruises - we saw a lot thanks to the crew's commitment.
A downside is definitely the drinks package we purchased. It is not worth buying these packages; it's better to buy drinks on-site or bring your own on board.

    Traumhafte seychellen tour

Super great crew, wonderful nature, and good program!

    Automatically translated.

Super nice organization and reception by Linda at the marina. They were very attentive to my histamine intolerance and checked again to ensure they could take good care of me. As a solo traveler, I was very lucky with my fellow travelers, and the crew with Ron and Steve was simply a dream. Ron as the skipper was very flexible and eager to show us sights off the planned route. He always had information on hand about various things or would inquire for us. He was also happy to accommodate our wish to sail along. Steve as the cook was a dream. During my subsequent stay on land, I often missed his varied, super fresh, and easily digestible cuisine. Among other things, we caught fresh fish on board, and Steve transformed them into wonderful, varied dishes. A dream! The program was structured in such a way that we saw 10 islands in 7 days. It was never boring and always had the right balance between relaxation and activity. I would sail with both of them again anytime and can only recommend them!

Great way to visit unspoiled islands

    Automatically translated.

Beautiful way to visit the Seychelles. I think I made the best choice. While sailing, we saw dolphins, sea turtles, and unspoiled islands where we stopped to go snorkeling (equipment on board). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were excellent. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. New friendships were made. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. There was a small fan, but the noise made it hard to sleep. In my room, it was not possible to open the windows; only a porthole, so there was no airflow. I recommend that those arriving early like me leave their luggage at the airport or Eden Island, take a taxi, and go for a walk in Victoria or to some beach because they don't board before 3 PM... we actually boarded at 5 PM. I would do it a thousand times again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful vacation, nothing to complain about. The crew was very helpful and well-prepared. The destination and the tour were very beautiful. Paradise beaches and corners of paradise with warm, crystal-clear water. Not recommended for snorkeling.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use those services as an addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • What documents are needed in order to travel to the Seychelles?

You do not need a Visa for stays of up to 3 months in the Seychelles, however you should have a valid passport, be able to prove you have sufficient funds and present a return ticket.
  • "Is there a minimum age required to embark on this cruise?

For comfort and safety reasons, the minimum age required to embark on this cruise is 12 years old. We also recommend that children know how to swim or are familiar with water. If your children are younger, our team is at your disposal to help you find a more suitable cruise."
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat?

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
  • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • What currency is used in the Seychelles?

The local currency in the Seychelles is the Seychellois Rupee. In 2024 1 € = 14.80 SCR and 10 SCR = 0.67 €.
It is possible to pay in Euros or Dollars for accommodation, transport, some restaurants and tourist sites however of course the change will be given to you in rupees.
Credit cards, Visa and Mastercard principally, are excepted in most places, as well as travelers cheques in larger businesses.
You cannot leave the Seychelles with more than 2,000 Rupees in cash.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
