Picking up the yacht was without any problems. The marina is clean with showers included. There is a laundry on site. There are many restaurants, bars, and pubs in the area...

The owner is the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He contacted each port on our behalf, pointed out dangers, and suggested the best solutions. Excellent cooperation and kindness. I highly recommend the owner!

Magical week in the azores on a bavaria 37

Keegan Sep 2025

My wife and I chartered this boat for a week in May-June and loved our time onboard. It's in great shape and was very comfortable for sleeping, cooking, and hanging out.

We picked it up in Angra do Heroismo and sailed around the central group islands, stopping in the towns of Velas and Sao Roque. Definitely recommend exploring the Azores by sailboat as you get a unique vantage point that most people miss.

The cruise around the Azores Islands was successful in every way - the yacht was technically and hotel-wise impeccable, the weather was just right for sailing and also for relaxation, we were satisfied with the local delicacies, and above all, we were filled with the beauty of the islands. Special praise goes to the GlobeSailor operator and his representative Mr. Diogo - very professional, efficient, and friendly service, constant phone contact, assistance in determining the availability of places in marinas and other matters.
