Cruise in Phuket island

FinbarrThe base in Phuket is excellent with a good restaurant and showers on site.. Location is easy access to the airport and taxis are readily available. The staff were very helpful and gave good advice on cruising locations. The Island spirit 380 that we chartered was quite tired for a 2017 boat that had some niggling issues. Having chartered a 2017 boat one would have expected everything to be prefect on board. However these issues were addressed as best as possible by the charter company. There are supermarkets within easy reach for stocking the boat before departure. Water rationing can be an issue as the only island to refill your water tanks is Phi Phi. Overall the east coast of Phuket is a fantastic cruising area and all the islands are within easy reach which made for a very enjoyable holiday. We would highly recommend it for a bareboat charter holiday but maybe go in Nov- Dec when the temperature is a little cooler. We went in April and had over 40C most days which was very hot !

TrevorWe hired a local skipper who was fantastic at providing us with a tailored sail using his extensive knowledge to visit some less commercial spots during our 8 day sail. The snorkelling, sunsets and local food was excellent as he ferried us to lovely destinations in the dinghy. By the second day we were referring Melinda Jane as “Home” Thanks for a memorable holiday

DoronCharter was great in all aspects. communication with charter company was great. Check in process fast and efficient, logistics were well organized (pick up from hotel, transfer of luggage to boat etc.). The boat (lagoon 45 sport top) was in perfect condition and very well kept, Dinghy had excellent outboard motor and large tank, very good local pilot book. Check out was fast and efficient too, All in all one of the best charters I've had.

FrancoisOverall it was very good, it was lacking just little details like champagne glasses, cocktails glasses, A little bit of cleaning and service from the crew.
