Frequently asked questions

  • Can I book my flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • How are the transfers between the airport and the marina organised?

Transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you'd like, your GlobeSailor advisor can help you arrange your transfer. Don't hesitate to contact them for more information.
  • Is the cruise 100% English speaking?

Please note that this cruise is open to all travellers. It is common to encounter people of various nationalities on board, as we attract international clientele. This allows for many enriching experiences and wonderful encounters! Furthermore, the crews are qualified to offer a multi-lingual service, and are primarily English-speaking.
  • Is there a minimum age for participation in this cruise?

For safety and comfort reasons, the minimum age for this cruise is 12 years old. We also recommend that children know how to swim or are familiar with the water. If your children are younger, our team are available to find a more suitable cruise for you.
  • Will the boat only sail?

The catamarans and sailboats offered for cruising move slowly in light airs, especially in summer if the wind is too light. Engine support is sometimes necessary to respect the itinerary stops and to ensure a berth in a port or at anchor for the night. We cannot guarantee a minimum sailing time. However, you skipper will do their best to sail as much as possible and to involve those who wish to do so in the maneuvers.
  • What payments do I need to make to confirm my booking?

To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor, who will place an option for you while your deposit is being collected. The reservation will not be considered final until your deposit of 50% of the reservation cost has been received (by bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card). A 100% deposit is required for any reservation made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the embarkation date.
  • What happens if I cancel?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
