Gros Islet

Gros Islet

Bordered by the Caribbean Sea, Saint Lucia is a volcanic island in the Caribbean that attracts boaters from around the world. Boat rentals tend to be organized in the north of the Island of St. Lucia but you can easily sail to the south for example near Soufriere - an economically developed region with an excellent marina. During your cruise started in Gros Islet you can get to Castries which is is both the capital of Saint Lucia and the largest port in the Caribbean. The city has been built in a protected bay, which makes it a great stopover sailing destination.
