The best way to see the whole Of Lake Garda and sail in some fabulous placesDieter
We enjoyed the trip alot; sailing from the Venice Laguna to Croatia and back was fantastic; a combination of long passages through the night and enjoying anchoring at the Dalmation islands. The boat performed well when it came to sailing. The only two flaws where that the engine was overheating. Luckily we were able to fix the problem. The other flaw was that the outboard dinghy never worked. Besides of that I really recommend the charterer and chioggia as a point of departure.Steve
The Lake is lovely and the sailing is great, mooring off a buoy and diving off the boat into warm non salty water made a great holiday for my family! Mooring in the little ports is a challenge, but worth it for the scenery and food.
It is not made very clear where the marinas are, and they very expensive, paid €83 for one night! Was given a road map with the Lake on for navigation, along with biro markings showing shallow areas, so watch your depth!Niall
We were a family of four & found the boat to be a good size, I would not recommend any more people as comfort would then be a problem. It is such a beautiful way to see the lake & villages. You must remember this is a boat holiday & a small environment for a family !! If you understand this you will have a great trip.
