Map
Greece

DAY 1 : Athens
Meet me at 3:00 p.m. in Lavrion harbor for your boarding. You will be welcomed by your crew and will discover the boat. Located in the south of Attica, Lavrion is a small town once known for its silver mines. To learn more about its history we recommend you to visit the town's archaeological and mineralogical museums.

DAY 2 : Athens - Kea (about 1h sailing time)
The skipper hoists the sails and sets course for the Cyclades. The first stopover of your trip will be in Kea, also known as Tzia. This mountainous island was according to Greek mythology the refuge of the nymphs. Take time to stroll through the narrow streets of Ioulida, the island's capital. Don't miss the Lion of Kea, a 9-metre long sculpture carved into the rock more than 2500 years ago.

DAY 3 : Kea - Syros
You head south-east to reach Syros, the most populated island of the archipelago. As you disembark, you can head towards Hermapoulis, literally "the city of Hermes". You will see neoclassical style houses and the unmissable Church of the Resurrection of the Saviour overlooking the town. Lovers of idleness will appreciate the sublime beaches of the south of the island. Why not dine in a small local tavern?

DAY 4 : Syros - Mykonos
The crew weighs anchor and sets sail on the famous Mykonos and its festive atmosphere. You will discover the Alefkandra district and its colourful houses built on the seafront, which earned it the nickname of "Little Venice". Walking on the heights of the island you will see the famous windmills, one of them (the Bonis mill) has been transformed into a museum. Take advantage of your evening to taste the Mediterranean specialities.

DAY 5 : Mykonos - Delos
Set course for Delos, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This island of only 3.5 km² is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the heart of the Cyclades. It contains a vast archaeological site which recalls the height of the city in the 5th and 6th centuries BC. Do not miss the Terrace of the Lions, symbolic protectors sculpted in marble by the Naxians.

DAY 6 : Delos - Kythnos
You set sail again and sail to Kythnos. This island with beautiful beaches and turquoise waters is ideal for relaxing. Thanks to the numerous snorkeling sites, you will be able to put on flippers, masks and snorkels and discover the sea bed. Sit out on the terrace to sip a cocktail and admire the sunset.

DAY 7 : Kythnos - Athens
Take advantage of this last day to relax and swim in the Aegean Sea. In the afternoon you will leave for the marina Alimos Kalamaki.

DAY 8 : Athens
Your disembarkation is scheduled early in the morning, after breakfast.

Please note: we mention above a departure on the second day however if you wish, this can be brought forward to the first day (depending on the weather conditions).

  • What documents are required for a trip to Greece?

All French nationals can enter freely with a valid national identity card or passport (for any stay of less than 30 days).

Please note: national identity cards issued to adults between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013 will still be valid 5 years after the expiry date (indicated on the back). Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that you use a passport rather than an identity card whose expiry date has passed.

This information is subject to change by the authorities of the country visited. It is not uncommon for border crossing rules to change. We therefore strongly advise you to refer to the "travel advice" section of the France Diplomatie website: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/.
Nationals of other countries should enquire about formalities at the consulate of their home country.
  • How are meals organised on board the boat?

This cruise in Greece includes half board. Your hostess will prepare breakfasts and lunches with fresh local products. Wine or beer is included for each lunch. Dinners will be taken ashore, each one being free for the evening. Dinner is still scheduled on the day of arrival on board the boat, and breakfast will be served on the last day before leaving the catamaran at around 9am.
Alcoholic drinks (other than wine) are extra. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or follow a special diet.
  • How does a private cruise work?

All the skippers we propose are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. If you have any special requirements regarding the skipper, please let us know. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to take part in the manoeuvres with him, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. The hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon, your cabins and more generally ensure the good working order of the boat.
