Bar is a modern town but it also has some old historical remains like 1000 years old town Stari Bar, located about 4 km away from the seashore. It is the largest urban agglomeration in ruins in Montenegro. Marina in Bar is good starting point for your sailing vacation. Airport in Podgorica is 45 km from the town, car parking is in front of marina and town centre is only few minutes away by foot. Supermarkets, banks, restaurants and shops are nearby.
