Map
Italy

DAY 1 : Cagliari
Arrive in port on Saturday at around 7 pm and have dinner in a local restaurant. This is the time to get to know the passengers and your crew. You will leave the port on board your yacht the next morning.

DAY 2 : Pula
After the first morning of sailing, you arrive in the bay of Capo di Pula. You can discover one of the best-preserved historical sites in Sardinia: the archaeological site of Nora. Re-board and sail along the Chia coast to the small beach of Su Giudeu, where you can walk around and reach the lighthouse of Capo Spartivento. Then, together with your crew, choose one of the charming anchorages near the island of Tuaredda to spend the night.

DAY 3 : Teulada
Wake up to the music of the island's seagulls. After breakfast, set sail for the Gulf of Teulada. This is the time to enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches and swim in the turquoise waters. If you choose to anchor in the port of Teulada, enjoy a typical dinner in a picturesque farmhouse a few kilometres from the port.

DAY 4 : Porto Pino
Head for the southernmost tip of Sardinia. Here the sea is very deep and the wind comes from different directions, you will have the opportunity to sail with particular and exciting conditions. Let your skipper guide you and enjoy the show... Beyond this point, hoist the sails towards another gulf inhabited by countless coves where you can swim. Stop off near the beautiful dunes of Porto Pino for the night.

DAY 5 : Capo Sperone or Coaquaddus or Torre Cannai
Continue along the Gulf of Palmas coast and drop anchor wherever you like. Enjoy the western edge of the gulf with Coaquaddus Bay, Torre Cannai or Capo Sperone. Anchor for the night at Capo Sperone, the southern tip of Sant'Antioco, leaving behind the small islets of Vacca, Vitello and Toro.

DAY 6 : San Pietro Island
Cast off and head for the last stop on your unforgettable journey: the island of San Pietro. Make stops whenever you feel like it before reaching the famous port of Carloforte. Admire the splendid view of the sunset from the lighthouse of Capo Sandalo, the most westerly lighthouse in Italy, on the horizon, only the sea for 260 miles to the Balearics.

DAY 7 : Carloforte
Wake up at the port of Caloforte and enjoy your last day in this small haven. Hire a scooter or a bike to explore the island, and you'll find a variety of wildlife and ponds full of flamingos! Enjoy a typical seafood dinner in a restaurant in the evening.

DAY 8 : Carloforte
Disembarkation on Saturday morning around 9am.

Please note :

  • Depending on the departure dates, the itinerary will be reversed: with embarkation in Carloforte and disembarkation in Cagliari.

  • What documentation is required for a trip in Sardinia?

For US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, and British citizens and many other countries, you need a valid passport for a stay of fewer than 3 months in Italy.
EU citizens can travel around the Schengen area indefinitely.
  • How is my transfer from the airport to the boat organised?

The transfer can be arranged by taxi or minibus through your GlobeSailor consultant and the base manager. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of payment of the balance or directly on-site in cash. Do not forget to inform your consultant of your arrival time.
  • How does a skippered cruise work? What about a hostess?

All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certifications. They are fluent in English. Please let us know if you have any special requirements regarding the skipper. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to participate in the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. As far as organisation is concerned, the skipper sleeps on the boat in a separate cabin or in the saloon. The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. On request, a hostess (or cook) can prepare your meals, clean the saloon, the cabins and generally take care of the boat. All our cabin cruises include the services, at least, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise stated in the contract).
  • How are meals organised on board the boat?

During your cruise, you will receive the following compulsory board: 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 4 dinners. These will be organised and prepared by the hostess/cook. The skipper and the hostess can advise you on good local restaurants according to your preferences and tastes. Alcoholic beverages offered on the boat are sometimes extra. Please check the terms and conditions of your quote. On request, your consultant will be able to send you the menus offered on board. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or if you have a special diet.
  • What payments do I need to make to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking, you need to inform your GlobeSailor consultant, who will hold an option for you until your deposit is received. The booking will only be considered definite once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) of between 30% and 50% of the total cost of the booking. A 100% deposit will be required for all bookings made within one month of departure. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before the embarkation date.
  • What happens in the event of a cancellation?

In the event of cancellation, you must notify your GlobeSailor consultant as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of your booking.
We advise our clients to subscribe to cancellation insurance with Ouest Assurance.
