Itinerary of your cruise

Sail along the Dalmatian coast to discover the Croatian islands. Let your sailboat and its captain guide you to fortified towns, a natural park or heavenly beaches. Here is an overview of what your dream vacation will look like:

DAY 1 : Dubrovnik
Embark around 5 pm and be introduced to the boat and your cabin. A welcome drink is organized to greet you before going to dinner at the restaurant in the old town of Dubrovnik or next to the Vimbula marina.

DAY 2 : Dubrovnik - Lopud - Sipan (approx. 1h30 et 2h of sailing)
Set sail for an early morning journey to the island of Lopud. Once on the island, choose to explore the botanical garden to the north or enjoy a relaxing moment on Šunj beach. Board your sailboat again for Sipan and have lunch on board. Your skipper will anchor in the bay of Šipanska Luka, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 3 : Sipan - Polace (Mljet) (approx. 4h30 of sailing)
Weigh anchor early and head towards Mljet to reach the northern coast of the island called Polace. Take a walk in the beautiful national park and admire the breathtaking scenery. Afterwards, let yourself be tempted by a moment of swimming and fish watching. A paddle boat will be available for those who wish to try this nautical activity. Dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 4 : Polace (Mljet) - Korčula (approx. 3h30 of sailing)
Set sail for the town of Korcula and dock in the ACI marina. The old town is a charming medieval city where you can go for a walk and admire the cobblestone streets, the Arneri Palace and the St. Mark's Cathedral. For history lovers, the house of Marco Polo can also be found on this island. Don't miss the pebble and sandy beaches. Come back on board at the end of the day for dinner.

DAY 5 : Korčula - Okuklje (Mljet) (approx. 6h of sailing)
Continue your cruise back towards the island of Mljet to discover the south. You make a first stop in the village of Prozura for lunch after a long sail. Take advantage of this break to swim with your snorkel or dive from the swimming platform. Afterwards, head for Okuklje and anchor in this small fishing village for the night. Have dinner in a traditional restaurant.

DAY 6 : Okuklje (Mljet) - Pelsejac (Kobas) (approx. 1h30 of sailing)
What could be better than a morning swim in the clear waters before starting the day? Come back on board for lunch before a sail to Pelsejac. Stop at the rocky islet of Olipa and admire the beautiful scenery. Once you arrive in Kobas, enjoy a moment of conviviality at the Niko restaurant where you can taste delicious seafood.

DAY 7 : Pelsejac (Kobas) - Dubrovnik (approx. 4h45 of sailing)
Your skipper will wake up early to set the sails and resume sailing towards Dubrovnik. You will stop at the island of Jakljan, known for being a great place to swim. Take the time to stroll through the streets filled with small shops and restaurants. Then it's time to return to your sailboat and have lunch while heading to the old town of Dubrovnik. Once you arrive, take a tour of the city walls or have a drink overlooking the sea. Dinner in town.

    Rejs przerósł moje oczekiwania.

Fantastyczna opieka skippera i hostessy.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I book my flights or on-land accomodation in addition to my cruise?

YES! Our travel agency offers all clients embarking on a cruise to book their flights or accommodations. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and budget.

We have created two 100% customizable offers : - Serenity Service : Booking of your flight tickets - Extension Service : Booking of your accommodation (hotel, gite, villa...) and/or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental...) to enjoy the wealth of the heritage.

Our consultants, who are destination specialists, will send you their best options for your vacation.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and predominantly English-speaking.
  • How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. At your request, your GlobeSailor consultant can help you organise them. Do not hesitate to ask for more information.
  • How does a cruise with skipper and hostess work?

All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is in charge of the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to participate in the maneouvers with them, they will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Regarding the organization, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins). All our cabin cruises include the services of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise indicated in the contract).
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • Are the menus adapted to special dietary requirements?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and providing special dietary options are part of this. Please inform your charter advisor of any dietary restrictions or requirements well in advance of the cruise, so that the crew may be informed and make the necessary adaptations to the menus provided.
Please note that the preparation of adapted menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who will prepare meals for 12 guests on board. Sourcing good quality substitute products also incurs additional costs. It is therefore necessary for us to charge a supplement, in order to guarantee that all our guests on board receive the same level of quality service.
  • What is included in the on board cash box?

The cash box includes the following:
  • The payment of taxes in national parks
  • Tourist and landing taxes in the islands
  • The anchorage and mooring fees at certain ports of call
  • The cost of any additional supplies of: fresh water, fuel, gas, fresh products...
  • What are the payments required to confirm my reservation?

To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option for you to collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), from 30 to 50% of the reservation amount. A 100% deposit will be required for any reservation made within one month of departure. The balance is due no later than 45 days before the date of embarkation.
  • What happens in the event of a cancellation?

In case of cancellation, you must inform your GlobeSailor consultant as soon as possible. Whatever the cause, the following cancellation fees will be due: up to 90 days before departure: 30% /// from 89 to 60 days: 50% /// from 59 to 30 days: 75% /// from 29 days to departure: 100% of the amount of your reservation.
