Day 1 : Lipari
This afternoon, embark on your sailboat at 7pm at Lipari, the largest of the Eolian Islands. The historic center of Lipari is dominated by the castle constructed on the headland: the oldest fortifications date back to the 4th Century BC. During your evening try some of the local specialities and enjoy the wonderful Sicilian atmosphere.
Day 2 : Lipari - Panarea
After breakfast, the skipper sets sail for Pumice Bay, north of Lipari. Take your first dip in these clear waters and relax. After lunch on board, head for the island of Panarea. With an area of 3.4 square metres, it is the smallest of the islands in the archipelago. A few miles before your arrival, you will stop at Lisca Bianca. Take the opportunity to put on your flippers, mask and snorkel and explore the seabed. You will arrive in Panarea in the afternoon and anchor the boat opposite Cala Zimmari beach to enjoy a peaceful evening nestled among the island's hills.
Alternatively, the crew can offer you a livelier evening in the village's restaurants and bars. A shuttle service is available 24 hours a day at an additional cost, allowing you to embark and disembark at any time.
Day 3 : Panarea – Stromboli - Salina
You will leave Panarea in the morning to sail towards the island of Stromboli and its famous volcano, which rises to a height of 926 metres. You will pass by Basiluzzo, a small volcanic islet where you can swim. While you swim, the crew will assess the weather conditions and volcanic activity to determine whether it is possible to sail around the island of Stromboli. If not, you will then head northwest of Panarea to a site that will delight snorkelling enthusiasts: the rock known as "La Nave", surrounded by crystal-clear waters teeming with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. For the last sail of the day, you will set course for the island of Salina. Your skipper will drop you off at the port of Santa Marina to explore this island, home to two inactive volcanoes and numerous vineyards. Once there, treat yourself to some "pane cunzato", a local speciality (made with toasted bread, olive oil, cheese, etc.). You will return to your boat a little further south to spend the night.
Day 4 : Salina - Alicudi
After an early start, you weigh anchor and sail along the south coast of the island. You quickly reach the villages of Rinella and Pollara. The latter is home to one of the island's most beautiful beaches, which served as the natural backdrop for the famous film "Il Postino" (The Postman). This is the perfect opportunity to take a dip in this little corner of paradise. Next, head to Alicudi, the most unspoilt island in the Aeolian archipelago. Stroll along the mule tracks, admire the panoramic views and savour the silence that envelops the island. End the day with an aperitif at Bar Airone, followed by dinner in a fishermen's restaurant to soak up the warm atmosphere.
Day 5 : Alicudi - Filicudi
After breakfast in the tranquillity of the island, you set sail for Filicudi. On the way, stop for a swim at "La Canna", an impressive 71-metre lava column rising out of the blue waters. Explore this unique site with diving equipment and admire the astonishing lava sculpture with its devilish shapes between La Canna and Montenassari rock. After returning on board, you will glide along the Bue Marino cave before reaching Punta Graziano, a small pebble beach bordered by crystal-clear waters. The afternoon ends gently in Filicudi, where you moor your boat at Pecorini a Mare. This small fishing village will charm you with its culinary specialities, its cheerful atmosphere and the tales of adventure told by its sailors.
Day 6 : Filicudi – Vulcano
You will start the day with a few hours' sailing to Vulcano, an island that is both volcanic and green. Depending on the weather, the crew will choose to anchor at the port of Ponente or Levante, two twin bays separated by a narrow strip of black sand connecting Vulcano to Vulcanello. Indulge in the benefits of a thermal mud bath or a pleasant hike (about 1.5 hours) to the top of the volcano, whose smoking crater offers spectacular views of the archipelago. If conditions permit, the boat will head to the magnificent bay near the Gelso lighthouse for a peaceful evening. You can savour the specialities of the "Da Pina" restaurant, with your feet in the water, or admire the sunset from the "Black Sand" beach. In case of bad weather, you will spend the night in complete safety at the Vulcanello pontoon.
Day 7 : Vulcano – Lipari
In the morning you will be sailing along the west side of Volcano, looking for the natural Venu's pool filled with crystal clear water. Lunch will be served in front of the Valle Muria beach, situated in the west of Lipari. In the afternoon you will be passing along the south side of the island. Enjoy the brilliant view of the Faraglioni di Lipari. You will then spend your evening at the marina Lunga in Lipari. Enjoy your last dinner in the historical center of Lipari.
Day 8 : Lipari
Last breakfast on board before your disembarkation, which will take place just before 9am. You say goodbye to the crew and leave with memories in your head.
