Step aboard your catamaran at Ajaccio in the afternoon. Once settled you will then sail towards Sainte Barbe in the bay of Ajaccio, to spend the night.

Day 2 - Ajaccio - Sagone - Cargèse
After breakfast you will head towards Sagone Bay or the village of Cargèse (depending on the weather conditions). The village of Sagone is a small fishing port nestled in a vast bay with long stretches of white sandy beaches. A few miles away, Cargèse is composed of both a small marina and a traditional village built by the greeks. Head in discovery of this charming little Corsican village.

Day 3 - Sagone / Cargèse - Gulf of Porto - Girolata
Today your crew will sail along the wild and stunning coastline, and you will moor in some of the most beautiful creeks and coves. Discover Cala di Palù and its famous stone totem poles, as well as the large stone called 'Pain de Sucre'. Moor and enjoy lunch at 'La Piscine' a creek bordered by unique stones. Then you will head in the direction of Piana and its famous rocky outcrops and large caves. Next it is time to sail to the gulf of Porto which has UNESCO world heritage status. Capo Ceino is also on the cards, as well as the gulf of Girolata with its stunning ramparts and fishing village. Moor for the night in creek of Girolata.

Day 4 - Girolata - Calvi
In the morning your catamaran will sail to the nature and marine reserve at Scandola. Rocky coastline, surrounded by beautiful reefs and islets, the protected nature reserve at Scandola is one of the most stunning geological sites in all of Corsica. Explore this wonderful landscape, before having lunch and then setting sail again for Calvi and its fortified town. Explore this lively town which is full of character and history.

Day 5 - Calvi - Gulf of Revallata - Girolata
Today it is time to sail and visit Calvi, and then on to the gulf of Revallata later in the morning. After lunch head towards Girolata, where the landscape becomes more wild and craggy with reddish rocks. Once further south you can go and explore the little fishing village of Girolat, one of the rare spots along the coast which is accessible only by the sea but also remains inhabited. Enjoy some water sports before mooring for the night at Cala Muretta or Cala Vecchia.

Day 6 - Girolata Bay- Capo Rosso - Cala Di Palù - Sagone / Cargèse
Next stop is Capo Rosso and its numerous headlands and outcrops. Then you will sail towards Cargèse a pretty little fishing town and marina, which has become a very popular tourist spot. Enjoy some swimming, water sports and then spend the night moored here.

Day 7 - Sagone Bay - Ajaccio Bay
Your catamaran will set sail again in the direction of the bay of Sagone during the morning, and then you will moor for lunch before heading for Ajaccio. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.

L'equipaggio è tutto

- reviewed on 17 july 2022
