- Transfer from Dalaman airport to the base costs a few euros if you take the bus (Havas), provided it runs on schedule. We had to take a taxi (40 EUR).

- Reception at the base was good, but you should know that they take a lunch break, so it's best to inquire beforehand. Very good briefing on the boat.

- The marina is very good, with a nice supermarket!

- The condition of the boat was not particularly good compared to others, but it was completely okay. The plotter had intermittent issues, and the speedometer showed 40% less SOG.

- Ekencek has a very good restaurant and a chill marina. You have to pay 15 EUR even if you eat there, but it's reasonable.

- Marmaris cost 45 EUR for mooring (32 feet), the marina is average, but the nightlife is incredibly good. Great pubs in the first row, clubs in the second row.

- Kapi was nice, but we received food there shortly before (or after?) the expiration date. A lot of what we didn't order was also on the bill. Very nice location, food was okay.

- The fish market in Fethiye is very nice. We let ourselves be 'caught', meaning we went to the restaurant recommended by the fish seller, and paid 35 EUR for fish and preparation for two people and 2.5 courses. Very pleasant hustle, many Turks. It's best to follow the fish seller's recommendation for a restaurant, as we observed that guests in this restaurant with a fish bag from another seller were not served.

Fethiye

Fethiye is the most popular destination of the province of Mugla in the south-west Turkey. The west of the Lycian coast where Feithiye is placed offers outstanding sailing opportunities. Fethiye is an excellent point of departure to sail towards the islands of the Aegean Sea. Opposite the island of Rhodes and of the ruins of Telmessos, Fethiye is a real archaeological jewel. While visiting Fethiye you cannot miss rock tombs on the cliffs of Lycia. Another popular attraction is the Butterfly Valley. An absolute must visit is the Blue Lagoon - the most famous Turkish beach placed in Ölüdeniz.
