The motherland of great men like the corsair Surcouf, explorer Jacques Cartier, or the writer Chateaubriand, Saint-Malo intrigues visitors with its unique spirit. Saint Malo is also a good starting point for a cruise to the archipelago of Chausey or the beautiful Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey.
