I booked a priority check-in for the boat, which was perfectly handled by the charter company, as were all other formalities. We set sail at 2:00 PM. The boat is brand new and has a few minor issues that are not yet functioning 100%. The anchor holds very poorly, the top light is on the wrong switch on the panel, and starting the engine sometimes didn't work. It only started after 6-8 attempts. Otherwise, the boat was perfect. The base also helped me a lot over the phone with difficulties during rough seas, storms, and thunderstorms regarding the engine and the mainsail. During the bad weather, the mast winch for the mainsail broke, and I hope to get the repair costs of €437.50 back through the deposit insurance taken out with GlobeSailor, minus the deductible. All in all, a trip with difficulties, but still very nice.
