A week in the saronic gulf
We had a very nice experience. The charter company is quite small but handles everything very professionally. They were very helpful with getting us additional papers for visa application. They were open, friendly and with the right attitude that we were there to enjoy our vacation.
The boat was ready at around 12 on Saturday though we didn't ask for an early check-in. The check-in process was thorough but quick. The boat was in a very good condition, we had no issues with it at all.
The Alimos Kalamaki Marina left perhaps the worst impression of all the trip. It is huge, yet there are very few amenities. The showers and toilets are closed during the night (23:00-8:00) and are not in the best shape. Marina is very busy on Saturdays, so leave it as soon as you can. A few shops are in close proximity. My crew brought the provision back by taxi. Alternatively, there is plenty of people offering shop delivery from the shop right to your boat, you can find them around the pier entrance.
Upon return on Friday there is a huge queue to get inside the marina, which is rather quick though. Just be ready to hang in there right in front of the entrance with the wind and waves.
Otherwise, the journey was wonderful. This was our first sailing experience in Greece and I will definitely sail there again and can recommend the charter company and the boat.
