Italy

DAY 1 : San Vincenzo - Baia di Viticcio
Meet on Saturday at 5pm in San Vincenzo to discover your boat and meet your housemates and crew, who accompany you during this dream week. Head to Viticcio, the most sheltered and protected bay on the north coast of the island of Elba, making it a perfect anchorage. Share your first dinner aboard your catamaran in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

DAY 2 : Baia di Viticcio - Marciana Marina
After a morning swim in the crystal clear waters of Viticcio, head towards Marciana Marina, the smallest town on the island of Elba. Located between sea and mountain, it offers a unique view of beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival at the port, admire the Pisane tower before disembarking to visit the charming village of Cotone, with its houses perched on the cliffs. Stroll along the coast before dining at the restaurant.

DAY 3 : Marciana Marina - Capraia
Set sail from the island of Elba towards the island of Capraia. Its name, linked to the Italian word "capra", meaning goat, originates from the presence of wild goats in its meadows in the past. We recommend taking a walk in the lively village, or going for a short hike in the mountains. In the afternoon, take advantage of this peaceful place to swim in the beautiful beaches of Cala del Ceppo and Cala della Carbicina. Also perfectly suited for a snorkeling session! Dine at a restaurant.

DAY 4 : Capraia - Fetovaia
The day begins with a navigation to reach the south of the island of Elba. Everyone enjoys lunch on board, before finding the perfect anchorage in the bay of Fetovaia, home to the most beautiful coves of the island. This place is known for its simple and natural beauty and extremely clear waters. Before dinner on your catamaran, you can relax in the water, swim, sunbathe or admire the beautiful colourful fish with your mask and snorkel.

DAY 5 : Fetovaia - Marina di Campo
Head to Marina di Campo, a magical place renowned for its sandy beaches and shallow waters. The view of the island of Montecristo on the horizon is unforgettable. You will be seduced by the city and its charming historic centre. Visit the horizons and explore archaeological finds from Roman times. Dinner is on board.

DAY 6 : Marina di Campo - Porto Azzurro
Your cruise continues along the coast to the east of the island. Drop anchor in Porto Azzuro, a small picturesque village. Take time to browse the pretty marina, with restaurants on stilts and explore the impressive Fortezza di San Giacomo. After these visits, relax! Perhaps go to the famous beaches of Terranera and Barbarossa to sunbathe or swim. Dine at a restaurant.

DAY 7 : Porto Azzurro - San Vincenzo
After a good breakfast, you begin the navigation back to San Vincenzo. This is an opportunity to visit this city, which is one of the most prestigious seaside resorts on the Etruscan coast. Explore the archaeological and natural parks, including the archaeological park of Baratti and Populonia, where the remains of the Roman city are revealed in front of an exceptional panorama of the sea and the Tuscan islands. You dine at the restaurant and enjoy your last night in your cabin.

DAY 8 : San Vincenzo
Disembarkation on Saturday at 9am.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is everyone on board English speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English speaking travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer a multilingual service.
  • Can I book my flights and accommodation in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our travel agency offers guests who embark on a cruise to book their flights or accommodation. Our tailor-made offers adapt to your needs and budget.

We have created two offers 100% customisable :
    - Serenity Service : Book your flights
    - Service Extension : Booking your accommodation (hotel, cottage, villa...) and/ or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental...) to enjoy the wealth of heritage in Martinique.

Our advisors, specialists of the destination, will send you their best proposals for your holiday.
  • How are your transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

Transfers are not included in your package. However, they can be arranged by your GlobeSailor consultant and the base manager by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of the balance payment or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to send your arrival times to your advisor.
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • How are meals organised on board the catamaran?

This cruise is half board. Breakfast and lunch are included in the service.
In addition to this, the first and fourth evening dinners are also included.
For other dinners, your crew will recommend restaurants.
  • What payments do I have to make to confirm my reservation?

To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will make an option for you while you collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once we have received your deposit (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) of 50% of the amount of the reservation. A deposit of 100% will be required for all bookings made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking.
We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with Ouest Assurance: https://www.ouest-assurances.fr/en/
