Cruise around ibiza, formentera, sun and swimming!

Before boarding, we communicated with Federico (the boss) and Isaac (the skipper) and agreed that we would take care of the provisioning. We were welcomed at the port of Sant Antoni, 1 hour before the scheduled time by Isaac (our skipper) who is super nice and made us feel comfortable very quickly. We communicated in Spanish and English (the skipper does not speak French). The boat is new, clean, and overall in very good condition (a few small details to repair, without affecting navigation). The equipment was very complete with a paddle and masks and snorkels for everyone. There were six of us and we enjoyed the three double cabins, all very comfortable. We took care of meals and life on board while the skipper handled the navigation. In one week we circled Ibiza and Formentera with many swimming stops in the coves. All stops and all landings were at anchor. We didn't have much wind and mainly navigated under engine power. Sailing was not done in very good wind conditions and we felt that Isaac was not super comfortable sailing. We have a very positive opinion of our stay. A slight frustration about sailing... but there wasn't much wind. Isaac was extremely helpful and the coastal landscapes were magnificent. I recommend the north coast of Ibiza and the south of Formentera!

First cruise with our 4-year-old, off-season

Ibiza turned out to be perfect for a cruise with a child, the multitude of possible anchorages allowing us to stop almost whenever we wanted, and the size of the island enabling a relaxed tour over the week while keeping time for leisure at anchor.
The rental team's hospitality was great.
The base has many boats that are intensively rented out but are well maintained. It's not luxury, but it works. Being at the beginning of the season, not everything was in place yet.

I really liked the GlobeSailor concept, with a good selection, a fair price, and good support.

Wonderful places

We found the boat in excellent condition, clean, well-equipped, and complete with safety equipment. The marina staff is kind, knowledgeable, and professional, and they met all our requests. At check-in, we noticed that the cabin lights were burnt out, which were promptly repaired. The Marina di Sant'Antonio di Portmary is well-maintained, including the facilities, which we found clean, functional, and with always hot water. In short, everything was excellent. The vacation, despite the unkind weather, was great; we circumnavigated both Ibiza and Formentera, staying overnight in Ibiza at Marina Botafoch, which was also excellent, and in Formentera. Thank you. Best regards.

Upon arrival, the administration is a bit cumbersome and takes time, probably poorly organized or let's say 'Latin'.
For taking the boat, think of everything you will need for your stay. You are left to figure everything out on board, both in terms of forks and rigging. This mode is interesting but nothing should be overlooked.
The staff on the dock are very available and competent. Very good technical support by phone.

Dear Sailor, we lived a wonderful week in Ibiza and Formentera. I suggest this experience to everybody. The charter society is ok!

Cruise done 80% under sail, with natural and wild coves and anchorages. Recommended in October, no nightclubs, no crowds, and no traffic jams....
