Low water at poton rental

Kenneth Oct 2026

The departure and arrival dock is in shallow water in front of the lock to the protection basin; at low water, it cannot be departed from, as only 1 meter depth is indicated. The rudder and keel are raised, and the boat cannot be comfortably steered in this configuration.

A new dufour that is performant and comfortable

Used to renting Dufour sailboats, 470 and 430, I found the new Dufour 41 very successful, performant, and comfortable. We enjoyed excellent sailing conditions, warm and windy.
The sailboat was equipped with a gennaker on a very easy-to-handle furler.
The 8 crew members really appreciated it.

Southern brittany

Very good relationship with the renter. The navigation central was defective at the start, replaced by a new one very quickly. The Dufour 390 is an almost perfect boat and very pleasant to steer; we hardly ever used the autopilot, only a few rare times for lunch. The area is ideal for family sailing. The boat was very well equipped, the only downside was the size of the dinghy, which could only take 3 passengers; at the Glénan, we really regretted that... I must say we had favorable weather, even though we had to beat to windward, the wind never exceeded 25 knots, only rarely in gusts when running, a delight...

Sailing trip south brittany

The boat was in very good overall condition. The performance was excellent. The administrative reception was very friendly and cooperative, the technical check-in and check-out quick and professional. The sailing area and the islands are very diverse, we almost always had good wind, harbors and tidal conditions were demanding but manageable... and we really enjoyed the fresh and creative seafood!
