Great boat for the family, the dinghy garage is a real plus for the kids. The automatic stabilizers are essential for venturing into the rias or grounding, and the boat is very lively, especially with the gennaker. The rental company offers great service, everything is simple, we will do it again!

Round trip across the bay of biscay on a virgin mojito 650

Stan Mar 2026

I rented the Mojito 650 through GlobeSailor to make a round trip from Lorient to Gijon in March 2026.

I know Minis well as I raced in the Mini-Transat 2017.
Here it's the best of both worlds, the fun of surfing combined with space, light, and an astonishing ease of use.
The bowsprit is super simple, the autopilot too, and the gennaker on a furler is actually a small all-purpose spinnaker that is very easy to roll and unroll.

Speeds of up to 14 knots, average speeds of 7 knots.
All of this close to the water in safety, never heeling over thanks to the power of the hull!

The boat was spotless, well prepared.
The welcome from the team was perfect!
