I recommend the company, a normal approach to people, you can communicate and calmly resolve matters. The equipment is okay, well-maintained and decent for its age. There was a bit of confusion with the boat pickup, but the owner rose to the occasion :)

An impeccable sailboat on a perfectly sized island

The island of Malta is perfect in terms of its size and dimensions for enjoying sailing. The HANSE 430 is an ideal vessel to stay on for a week, as it is very comfortable and spacious. The equipment is in perfect condition and is very suitable for everything intended to be done on the island. The biggest difference I found in this rental was the proper way of teaching us about the boat and explaining its operation. (In other instances, the landlord only dedicated 20 minutes to check with us and explain everything... this time we spent more than 1 hour going through everything in detail).

The mix of turquoise waters and the footprint of the centuries is an incredible combination.

Mid week break

Cedric Jul 2017

The boat was clean and well prepared. The Charter company staff were friendly and helpful. No problems except that the outboard they gave us for the tender was a four stroke and it had been filled with two-stroke mix so only ran for about 30 seconds before it choked. Irritating at the time, but we berthed in a marina each night so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. On the plus side, they arranged marina berths in advance for us and a taxi to take us to the airport at 4am. The coast of Malta isn't the best in terms of pretty coves to moor up in or quaint quay side restaurants and bars, but the Kalkara marina in Valetta is surrounded by historic fortifications and provides a very pleasant backdrop. Thank you
