~ Discovering the northern coast of Brittany ~

Day 1: Saint-Malo - Saint-Quay-Portrieux
Jean-Luc will meet you in the morning for your boarding. After a tour of the boat and a chance to meet your crew members, it will be time to cast off. You will sail along the Emerald Coast towards the west. During the sail, you will see the fort La Latte (or château de La Roche Goyon) built in the 14th century and discover Cape Fréhel overlooking the sea (it is also the perfect vantage point to watch the first moments of the Route du Rhum). You'll anchor in the port of Saint-Quay-Portrieux. It's in this pretty seaside town, known as the capital of scallops, that you'll spend your first night on board.

Day 2: Saint-Quay-Portrieux - River Trieux
Weigh anchor and sail west along the Goëlo coast. This stretches from the Point of Arcouest to the town of Binic. You'll discover a wild coastline of towering cliffs and deserted coves, the scene of smuggling operations between the English and French Resistance during the Second World War. Eventually, you'll reach the Trieux estuary and perhaps sail as far as the Lézardrieux marina (weather permitting). Once ashore, hikers can practice their skills on a stretch of the famous GR34 footpath along the banks of the Trieux. Overnight at anchor.

Day 3: River Trieux - Archipelago of the Seven Islands - Roscoff
This morning, you make your way quietly down the Trieux river, enjoying one last time this unique landscape of steep cliffs, dense forests and green marshes. Now you're back at sea, skirting the Pink Granite Coast. You pass the Héaux lighthouse, built on the reefs of the Epées de Tréguier, before discovering the Archipelago of the Seven Islands, France's largest bird reserve, with no fewer than 27 species of nesting birds. You finish the day crossing the magnificent Bay of Morlaix, its islands and islets offering breathtaking scenery, before reaching Roscoff. Spend the evening in this beautiful corsair town. Night at anchor.

Day 4: Roscoff - Tréiguier
It's time to start your return journey eastwards. This crossing will be another opportunity to explore the most beautiful corners of Brittany's coastline. You'll sail up the Jaudy river before disembarking in the port of Tréguier. This ancient episcopal city is the historic capital of Trégor, one of the nine historic Breton countries that made up Brittany for hundreds of years. Take advantage of this stopover to stroll through the picturesque streets of timber-framed houses and admire the magnificent Saint-Tugdual cathedral. Overnight at anchor.

Day 5: Tréguier - Brehat Island
Today, you'll head back down the Jaudy river before setting sail for the island of Brehat. You'll have the opportunity to safely cross the La Gaine passage, between the rocks of the Les Héaux de Bréhat lighthouse and the tip of the Sillon de Talbert. You'll then cross the La Moisie river before reaching the island of Bréhat. Discover this island of flowers (agapanthus, hydrangeas, mimosas, camellias, etc.), which enjoys a year-round microclimate thanks to the Gulf Stream. Enjoy the peace and quiet offered by the absence of cars on the island as you stroll along its footpaths to the Peacock Lighthouse. Overnight at anchor.

Day 6: Saint-Quay-Portrieux - Saint-Malo
Your last day at sea begins with a crossing to Cap d'Erquy, before crossing the waters of Cap Fréhel again. Take advantage of your last moments on board to explore the beautiful bay of Saint-Malo and its islands. You'll see some of the most famous historic monuments on the coast, including the Petit Bé fort, Chateaubriant's tomb, the National fort, the city of Alet and its fort, and many others. And how about a swim before heading ashore? Disembarkation is at 5pm.

~ Tour of Brittany: discover Brittany in all its facets ~

Brittany is an exceptionally rich region, and these stages continue the exploration of the north coast, which began on the previous route, while opening the way to the iconic landscapes of the south. Between wild landscapes, unspoilt islands and historic towns, discover the diversity of Brittany's horizons, combining authenticity and a change of scenery.

STEP 1: Saint-Malo - Brest
The north coast of Finistère offers authentic and unspoilt stops. First, there is the island of Batz, renowned for its beaches and exotic garden, followed by the small, traditional ports of Moguériec and Plouescat. Further west, head for Portsall and the famous Abers: Aber Wrac'h, Aber Benoît and Aber Ildut, authentic Breton fjords offering sheltered anchorages and lush green landscapes. Finally, Pointe Saint-Mathieu takes you to Camaret-sur-Mer, with its cliffs and lively port, before reaching the harbour of Brest, the gateway to the Iroise Sea.

STAGE 2: Brest - Vannes
Discover the south coast of Brittany, dotted with varied landscapes and iconic stopovers. It begins in Finistère with the Brest harbour and continues with authentic stops in Camaret-sur-Mer, the island of Sein, Audierne and Douarnenez. Further east, Cornouaille reveals its lively ports such as Concarneau, its coastal rivers and the Glénan archipelago with its turquoise waters. Quiberon Bay, bordered by the islands of Belle-Île, Houat and Hoëdic, true jewels of unspoilt beaches and landscapes, precedes the Gulf of Morbihan, famous for its countless islands and sheltered anchorages, before reaching the historic city of Vannes, in the heart of southern Brittany.

STAGE 3: Vannes - Brest
Head north again along the wild coast. After leaving the Gulf of Morbihan, you will cross Quiberon Bay and its islands before setting sail for Cornouaille. Depending on the conditions and your sailing pace, you can discover a few typical ports or sheltered anchorages along the way, with spectacular views such as those of the Pointe du Raz or the Abers, before reaching the harbour of Brest.

STAGE 4: Brest - Saint-Malo
Final crossing to reach the Emerald Coast. After leaving Brest, you will sail along the Iroise Sea and its impressive cliffs. Depending on the opportunities, stops in picturesque ports or islands can be considered to enjoy the wild beauty of Finistère. The return to Saint-Malo will offer spectacular views of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel and its changing lights, before returning to the pirate city.
