Cruise in South America

Your cruise in South America

South America is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It is a territory where Latin languages such as Spanish and Portuguese are the most common. A cruise in South America is an enriching experience as the destination is full of cultural treasures and landscapes. During a cruise in South America, you can not miss Peru and its mysterious Machu Picchu Inca treasure, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and its statue of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado located in Ilha Grande, a large island placed off Rio de Janeiro.

IT WAS OUR BEST SAILING TRIP EVER

Check-in and communication was super easy, the marina is easy to find and the amenities are incredible. Paulo and Felipe are just great people. They will give you all the info you need if you chartering the boat and they are lovely to have around if they are skippering for you. I had been to the town of Paraty before but never out in the water. The place is unbelievable and it is a joy to sail there. One thing to be said is that there aren't mooring balls near the islands so you will have to anchor to spend the night, make sure to talk to the local to find out the best places to overnight. I will definitely be back there and rent one of their boats again.

The boat was perfect for 7 people (even for 8), very practicle and fully equiped! Grace and Luis from the agency were very nice and gave us good tips to discover the area. Higly recomandable!

Paraty and its surroundings are definitely beautiful, though you have to be a bit lucky with the weather (which we were). The wind conditions could have been better, but apparently there normally is not that much wind there. The staff was definitely very nice and welcoming. Some details were forgotten at the first explanation while going through the checklist, but luckily the girl who gave us some tips regarding the best places to go mentioned for example the 2 water tanks and the switch for that. This Wind 34 boat is perfect for a max of 4 persons. They can improve the kitchen a bit by supplier a bit more tools for cooking and BBQ'ing. As it is a very humid area the sleeping places/pillows do get humid as well very quick. If they could think of something for that would be good.
