On arrival, they were organised and ready for us and our onboarding was clear and professional so that we could get on with our trip with as few hold ups as possible.

The weather for our trip out of Marmaris Turkiye was superb, with moderate breezes most days. We had four couples on a Lagoon 42 Catamaran, which was well prepared and impressive in its design; spacious and easy to manoeuvre and sail. We had winds up to 25 knots on the boat at times when beating into the wind in relative comfort.

Elena, Manager of the Maramaris office of the charter company, was pleasant and professional. It was a good experience all round and good value for what we got out of it.

Many thanks also to Alec, our agent from GlobeSailor, whose expert advice and guidance was key to our decision to go ahead with this charter. We would like to do some more sailing in the Med over the next few years. If that happens, our first point of contact will be GlobeSailor.

Only one area for improvment

The service was excellent and the vessel was ready ahead of schedule. Everyone was helpful & willing to resolve our needs. However, the shore power for 1st & last night were timed out & on a meter. Being told the 1st & last night mooring were included, I assumed the shore power was included too but not a limited meter consumption. We woke up very early without shore power. That is the only area of potential improvement.

- The Charter Companies team has been very friendly and helpfull fulfilling all our needs and I will be very happy to work with them again.
- Boat is a nice one with a bit of age for which we were aware of and there has been no major issues that we have foaced for a 10+ year age boat.
Just be aware that there is no furling for the main sail but this is not an issue if you have 2 people helping the skipper onboard, one people would be challenging.
- Marina is a new and small one and you need to be aware that there is no big groccery market nearby, any big market is 30 minutes driving distance, so there is 2 options;
1- Do your shopping before you go to marina
2- The Charter Company has a comprehensive shopping list that you can chose whatever you want to buy and they arrange the delivery.

The Hanse 375 is a no nonsense boat where everything worked perfectly. We were just a couple and only used the forward cabin, which was quite spacious with lots of headroom. Engine, autopilot, sails, head, windlass, electrical system were all flawless. This boat was 11 years old, but everything had been maintained meticulously. The engine compartment was so clean you could eat off of it. And that’s just the boat. Shoreside staff was outgoing and incredibly helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better charter experience.
