Greece

Day 1: Marina Gouvia (Corfu)
The crew awaits you at 6pm for your embarkation. Your skipper will brief you on safety measures and the week's schedule, after which you can take time to settle in and familiarise yourself with the boat. This evening, take advantage of your free time to find a nice place for dinner. You'll leave early the next day for the start of your adventure at sea.

Day 2: Marina Gouvia (Corfu) - Syvota
Early departure heading south. You make your first stop on the small islands near Syvota, with their magnificent white sandy beaches and clear waters. It's the perfect time for a morning swim. Located on the north-west coast of Greece, Syvota is a fishing village with a picturesque landscape. It is considered one of Greece's most exotic destinations, with its magnificent coastline, verdant islets and long beaches. Visit this pretty town and indulge in a dinner in one of the many tavernas to discover the local cuisine.

DAY 3: Syvota - Lakka (Paxos) - Blue Caves (Paxos) - Gaios (Paxos)
This morning you arrive in Lakka, the second largest village on Paxos. Enjoy swimming and water sports in a picturesque bay surrounded by olive and cypress trees. You continue the day sailing around the island where you first visit the "Blue Caves", a magnificent place only accessible by sea. The water around the caves is bright blue, which gives them their name. Then you will have lunch on board. After, continue on to Gaios, a port town and the island's capital. Stroll through the many streets with their Greek charm that start from the main square. You'll find a good choice of restaurants, tavernas, cafés and shops. It's the perfect place for dinner.

DAY 4: Gaios (Paxos) - Antipaxos - Parga
On the fourth day, your boat sets sail for Antipaxos, a small uninhabited island surrounded by beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a snorkelling session or try your hand at paddle boarding. After lunch, head for Parga, on the west coast of mainland Greece. Stroll through the streets of this charming old fishing village. In the evening, the port is bustling with life, making it a good place to dine in pleasant surroundings.

DAY 5: Parga - Petriti (Corfu)
Your cruise continues to Petriti, located on the mainland. Popular for its fishing port, this is the perfect place to enjoy fresh seafood for lunch. Stroll through the village and admire the traditional architecture and charming streets. You can watch the magnificent sunset while enjoying your dinner on board.

DAY 6: Petriti - Old Fort (Corfu)
After a morning swim, you sail to Corfu's Old Fort. A Unesco World Heritage Site, it was built on a rocky peninsula and undoubtedly offers the most beautiful panoramic view of the Ionian Sea and Corfu's old town. You will have the opportunity to visit the fortress after lunch on board. We recommend dining in one of its many restaurants, where you can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine while taking in the magnificent views of the bay.

DAY 7: Old Fort (Corfu) - Agni, Kalami & Kouloura (Corfu) - Marina Gouvia
Today, the captain takes you to the north of the island to visit its famous beaches: Agni, Kalami and Kouloura. Relax by the sea in a unique setting and take advantage of this last day for a final swim in these crystal-clear waters. Back on board, your yacht sails back to the marina. We recommend that you spend your last evening in Corfu's old town, easily accessible by bus or taxi (at your own expense).

DAY 8: Marina Gouvia
After breakfast, say your goodbyes to the crew and other passengers. You disembark at 9am.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I book my flights and accommodation in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our travel agency offers guests who embark on a cruise to book their flights or accommodation. Our tailor-made offers adapt to your needs and budget.

We have created two offers 100% customisable :
    - Serenity Service : Book your flights
    - Service Extension : Booking your accommodation (hotel, cottage, villa...) and/ or complementary activities (excursions, guided tours, car rental...) to enjoy the wealth of heritage in Martinique.

Our advisors, specialists of the destination, will send you their best proposals for your holiday.
  • Is everyone on board English speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English speaking travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer a multilingual service.
  • How are transfers between the airport and the boat organised?

Transfers are not included in your package. However, they can be arranged by your GlobeSailor consultant and the base manager by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of the balance payment or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to send your arrival times to your advisor.
  • How is a cruise with a skipper and hostess organised?

All the skippers we offer are registered and have the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is responsible for the navigation and your safety on board. Do not hesitate to participate alongside him in the manoeuvres, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Regarding the organisation, the skipper and the hostess/cook sleep on the boat (either in the saloon or in cabins).
All our cabin cruises include the services, at a minimum, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise stated in the contract).
  • Does the boat operate only with the sails?

It depends on the weather. When the winds are strong, the skipper will use the sails to sail silently. On days with calmer winds or to reach the stopovers on schedule, the skipper may need to use the engine. The engine is also used when entering and leaving the marinas. We cannot guarantee a minimum time of using the sails. The skipper will do their best to use the sails as much as possible and involve passengers in manoeuvres.
  • Are the menus adapted to specific diets?

We strive to offer the best possible services on our cruises and specific diets are included. By informing your advisor well in advance of the cruise of your dietary restrictions and/ or specific diet, we can adapt the menu.
We would also like to point out that the preparation of these different menus adds a certain level of complexity for our hostesses/cooks, who must prepare meals for 12 guests in functional kitchens, but whose space remains limited. It is also difficult to find good substitutes without incurring additional costs. Therefore, for special dietary needs, there is an extra charge, to ensure that all our guests on board receive the same level of service.
  • What must the cash box consist of?

The cash box must consist of funds for:
  • Paying taxes in national parks
  • Tourist and landing taxes in the islands
  • Anchorage and mooring fees at certain ports
  • Possible costs for more fresh water, fuel, gas and fresh food products...
  • What are the necessary documents to travel to Greece?

For U.S. and U.K. citizens a visa is not required to visit Greece. A passport is necessary, with at least 3 months validity from the planned date of departure. You may be asked to present proof of sufficient funds, a return travel ticket and travel insurance.

Australian and New Zealand citizens do not require a visa to visit Greece. A passport is necessary, with at least 6 months validity from the planned date of departure. You may be asked to present proof of sufficient funds, a return travel ticket and travel insurance.

EU/EAA citizens require a valid passport or identity card.

For further information, please contact information from the department of foreign affairs of your country.
  • What payments do I have to make to confirm my reservation?

To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will make an option for you while you collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once we have received your deposit (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) of 50% of the amount of the reservation. A deposit of 100% will be required for all bookings made less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before departure.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking.
