DEPARTURE: Bonifacio
The beautiful white limestone citadel of Bonifacio is where you will meet to board your catamaran at 6:00PM. Once on board and comfortably settled into your cabin, you'll be invited to a welcome cocktail, during which you'll be given a safety briefing. The evening continues with your first dinner on board, where you can get to know your fellow passengers and the crew. Overnight on board.

CRUISE: Your stopovers
Throughout your journey, you’ll sail with the wind as your guide, with the itinerary shaped by weather conditions to ensure smooth cruising and beautiful stopovers between Corsica and Sardinia.

Below is an overview of the destinations that may feature along your adventure:

In Corsica:
Rondinara Bay: Famous for its crescent shape and crystal-clear turquoise waters, this bay is sheltered from prevailing winds and offers a safe and peaceful anchorage. It is the ideal place for swimming, relaxing or simply admiring the scenery.
Balistra Cove: Framed by rocky cliffs, this wild and unspoilt anchorage offers a peaceful stopover. It is the perfect setting to enjoy the sea in complete tranquillity, in an authentic and spectacular setting.
Roccapina Cove: Dominated by its famous lion-shaped rock, it impresses with its striking scenery of cliffs, golden sand and turquoise waters. It can also be explored on foot via a hiking trail that climbs up to a Genoese tower, offering spectacular views of the nearby beach from the top. An ideal stopover for combining swimming, walking and unforgettable views.
San Ciprianu Bay: This bay charms visitors with its relaxed yet lively atmosphere. Its clear waters, long sandy beaches and high-quality restaurants make it a welcoming stopover, perfect for alternating between water sports and gourmet experiences. It is the ideal place to try out the e-foil or other water toys available on the catamaran.
Villata Beach: More secluded, it offers a very natural setting. From the anchorage, you can see a Genoese tower, the turquoise sea and, in the background, the Corsican mountains and the Bavella peaks. A peaceful place, conducive to contemplation and letting go.
The Lavezzi Islands: These islands are a granite paradise for nature lovers. Crystal-clear waters, secluded coves and rocks sculpted by the elements offer unique landscapes. The location is perfect for swimming, snorkelling or a peaceful exploration of the coastal paths.

In Sardinia and the La Maddalena archipelago:
The port of La Maddalena is the vibrant heart of the archipelago. With its colourful narrow streets and Mediterranean atmosphere, this popular stopover allows visitors to immerse themselves completely in local life.
The pools of Budelli, nestled in the heart of the La Maddalena archipelago, offer a breathtaking spectacle: natural pools carved out of granite, with turquoise and emerald waters of incredible transparency. From the catamaran, you can admire the shades of blue, the clear sand under the water and the pinkish rocks that give this place its unique identity. An iconic Sardinian site, accessible only by sea, where the pleasure lies as much in the sailing as in the contemplation.
The island of Caprera boasts one of the most beautiful anchorages in Cala Coticcio, often referred to as the "little Tahiti" of the Mediterranean. The beauty of its pink rocks plunging into sparkling turquoise water and the absolute transparency of the seabed are an irresistible invitation to swim and snorkel.
Porto Liscia is nestled between wild dunes and fragrant maquis shrubland, facing a vast expanse of light sand. It can become a perfect playground for watersports enthusiasts. It's an authentic stopover where, with a bit of luck, you might spot dolphins swimming peacefully.
Cala Bitta charms visitors with its shallow waters in shades of turquoise and emerald, ideal for easy swimming directly from the catamaran. Fringed by white sand and Mediterranean hills, this bright cove offers a gentle, sunny stopover, perfect for enjoying the Sardinian sea to the full and for some great e-foil or mini-jet ski sessions.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I book my flights or a stay in addition to my cruise?

    YES!
Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

Our dedicated advisors will be happy to assist you in your holiday planning.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat?

Your transfers are not included in your cruise package. If you wish, your GlobeSailor consultant can help you organize them. Don't hesitate to ask for more information.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • Is there a minimum age for this cruise?

For reasons of safety and comfort, the minimum age required for this cruise is 10 years.
We also recommend that children be able to swim or be familiar with the water.
If your children are younger, our team will be happy to help you find a more suitable cruise.
  • How does a cruise with skipper and hostess work?

All the skippers we offer are registered and hold the necessary professional certificates. They speak English fluently. The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to join him or her in the maneuvers, and he or she will be delighted to teach you the basics of navigation. As far as organization is concerned, the skipper and hostess/cook sleep on board, in one of the cabins reserved for them.
All our cabin cruises include the services of at least one skipper and one hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract).
  • Does the boat only sail?

The catamarans and sailboats offered for cruising move slowly in light airs, especially in summer if the wind is too light, or if the point of sail is not optimal. Engine support is sometimes necessary to respect the itinerary's stopovers and to ensure a place in port or at anchor for the night. We cannot guarantee a minimum sailing time under sail. However, your skipper will do his or her utmost to navigate under sail and involve those who wish to participate in the maneuvers.
  • Can I bring alcohol on the boat?

No passenger is allowed to bring alcohol on board
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 30%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
