The process for identifying and booking a charter was relatively straightforward. I did this on the spur of the moment so was a bit lucky to secure a day charter. The Sun Odyssey 45 is really well set up for a day cruise with inexperienced or novice crew. You only need one well qualified experienced skipper to manage the boat. It's simple to de-power with a furling genoa and cockpit main reefing, takes seconds to do.

We had Victor take us up and down the coast, we stopped of in Sitges and stocked up on food / wine. We were taken to all the ports to see all the big boats. All in all amazing good fun day out and would definitely return again!

Alphonso was absolutely superb in assisting us. As a skipper not used to ster-on mooring (right in front of marina restuarant and didn't I time it right so that the restuarant was full!!!) there was always someone around to lend a hand. Boat was great, well equipped, easy to handle and in 5 days we had perfect sailing conditions for crew new to sailing. In mast was a bonus. Recommendation: try it - worth every penny
