Très bon accueil à la base par le personnel et le responsable, bateau bien entretenu et très bien équipé . navigation vers Cayo Largo avec un vent force 4 au portant et une mer agitée (environ 90 miles en 2 jours).
à Cayo Largo belles plages de sable blanc et une marina avec peu de services et c'est à peu près tout !!!
Petite déception suite à de nombreuses pannes sur le moteur d'annexe ( ne pas oublier que l'on est à Cuba et que l'on répare avec de l'ancien !!) retour par force4/5 aux moteurs (vent de face) et mer très agitée.

Très bonne préparation du bateau mais pas de jauge de gasoil en état de marche et la vaisselle est a changer Moteur de l'annexe un peu faible

Globe Sailor et son correspondant local ont fait un excellent travail.
Le skipper et le cuisinier étaient à l'heure pour l'embarquement et dès notre arrivée nous avons débuté notre traversée.
Skipper aimable, discret mais convivial et très à l'écoute de nos demandes.
Le cuisinier est excellent et nous a adapté chaque jour des mets fraîchement pêchés.
Le bateau est confortable, un Catalante. Il aurait peut-être besoin d'un entretien un peu plus suivi, par exemple au niveau des éclairages et de l'électricité.
Le parcours d'une île à l'autre, d'un récif à l'autre, nous a fait découvrir les hauts lieux tels que Cayo Largo ou Cayo Rosario. Plages de sable blanc, mer turquoise, eau à 26°
Pensez ! le 24 décembre, dans un endroit somptueux, 4 bateaux au mouillage !!!
Donc excellent souvenir à tout point de vue.

Bateau très confortable... nous étions 7 + le skipper mais ce bateau peut accueillir 10 personnes dans d'excellentes conditions... il faut bien prévoir son itinéraire dans les eaux cubaines car certaines iles autour de Cayo Largo ne sont pas intéressantes et les mouillages de nuit sont peu nombreux... Merci au loueur pour le beau geste commercial !!

Try cuba, strongly recommended !

We were a group of 12 (family) for this bareboat charter. I wasn't sure about the destination as all my previous charters had been in more populated islands of the Caribbean (BVI, Bahamas, Martinique, St-Marteen). I was expecting this navigation area to be quieter and it was. The islands are desert, expect for the 2 lighthouse keepers. Even Cayo Largo was very quiet as we were off season (August). This was perfect for us as we wanted to spend time together, we weren't looking for `'external' entertainment.

While we didn't get much wind at this time of the year, the water and navigation area was exceptional. I had never seen such unspoiled reefs, turkoise water and wildlife before. We were lucky enough to run into a group of 20+ dolphins that swam along the boat for nearly 20 minutes, we encountered a great diversity of marine animals including a whale shark, a manta ray and countless species of fishes.

The boat was impeccable, everything was working as it should. The technical briefing I received at the base was the more complete I ever received. I wish all of this info could be put in writing as there is a lot to remember when taking command of a new boat. However, the service was exceptional. When we had a problem with the water maker and the generator, we were given rapid and detailed instructions to get it back online. We did appreciate the AC overnight !

Be advise a lot of cash (Euros) is required, credit card are not accepted anywhere. Even the base requires for everything to be paid in cash.

Over all, we had a amazing week. I would strongly recommend this destination if you are looking for a quiet place to sail, reconnect with nature and just enjoy the beauty of Cuban waters. The service we received from GlobeSailor was impeccable and the same applies to the base team

В акватории всего три марины - Сьенфуэгос, Тринидад и Кайо-Ларго. Все три небольшие, народу нет, прикольно. Лучше выйти из Сьен-фуэгоса, дойти до Кайо-Ларго и тусить там в окрестностях марины - пляжи, рифы, игуаны. Продукты брать у чартерера заранее, с продуктами в свободной продаже там не очень. А так отлично. На Кайо-Ларго пляж Сирена просто сказка.
