A small note about the deposit insurance. Some marinas offer it on-site at a similar price (this way, the deposit amount does not get blocked on the credit card, and in case of damage, the processing is handled independently without all the external hassle).

Really positive: for the first time, an early check-in actually worked!

However, the radio was not functional, the navigation lights were defective, and a rattling noise from the engine on the right side was not disclosed (it was known) but we repaired it ourselves. A marking of the anchor chain (length indication every 10 meters would suffice) would also be very useful.

The marina in Split is super tight, and in strong winds, you need nerves, but everyone is very friendly, committed, and helpful.

All in all, a wonderful tour.

The ACI Marina in Split is open all year round, its long breakwater provides excellent protection from rough seas and southerly winds. Split airport acts as a great connection to the marina and is easy to reach from the highway.

With 318 berths and a number of qualified marina staff, it's a great place to stay and rent a boat from!
