The welcome by Kristyna was professional and speedy.
The boat handover by Marco was somewhat lackadaisical. (No check of the heads). No tea cloths or wash-up sponge, no clothes pegs. Just ask. The Dufour 430 was in good condition;, two small issues were promptly corrected. On Salina Island we had an issue with the anchor and bow thruster. The charter company dispatched a very competent technician almost immediately (Arturo), and we were able to continue in two hours or so. I can recommend this charter company.
This was the first time for me as skipper in the Aeolian. We enjoyed the experience very much. The wind was excellent most of the week. The prevailing westerly was strong during our week and made it impossible to explore the Filicudi and Alicudi islands. Friendly locals, good food and wine, we will be back.
