Lagoon 440

Staying with Xavier and his wife was a 10/10 experience. They are such a warm, professional couple who go above and beyond for their guests. The yacht itself is beautiful and very well-equipped. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of El Nido in total peace and luxury. Thank you both for the memories!

We had an amazing week, in which we saw beautiful beaches, private lagoons, traditional villages and did not see another tourist the entire week. We are a family of four and felt the captain could not have done a better job finding locations that suited our active family. We snorkelled, kayaked, wake boarded, swam, paddled boarded and walked on so many beautiful beaches. We really couldn’t have had a better experience.

We ,met our Captain, Xavier at a beach where he collected us and took us over to his gorgeous catamaran by dinghy. We were greeted by his wife and our hostess Amanda and given time to settle in.

We had plenty of opportunity to input into the itinerary for the week, and were given great suggestions by Xavier and Amanda. Our goal was to have a wonderfully relaxing time, whilst exploring the island of Komodo and we very much achieved this.

We spent lots of time snorkeling and spotted a great variety of sea life close to the surface, so if you love snorkeling and swimming in the sea, this trip would suit you well. Xavier also took us manta spotting and we had the privilege of seeing one of these beautiful creatures after a couple of trips. Above ground we went into the national park and also saw some Komodo dragons wandering and sunbathing.

Food on the boat was amazing - Amanda is a great chef and tailored the food she made to suit our rather fussy teenager! We stopped at the only restaurant in Komodo one evening, but I have to say, Amanda's cooking was way better! If you're someone who likes to spend evenings in busy marinas and restaurants, then this trip isn't for you, but if you want to truly relax and eat very well, you'll be in heaven.

Xavier's catamaran is lovely and really comfortable - surprisingly large beds and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. There's different areas to sit and relax and space on the nets at the front to sunbath.

We had a wonderful time - thank you Xavier and Amanda for being fabulous hosts and for sharing your lovely boat with us.

Recibimos una excelente atención, porque la comida estuvo siempre adecuada y a nuestro gusto. Muy sabrosa y saludable.
El capitán Xavier, es un excelente anfitrión, es muy amable y conoce muy bien la zona, hicimos snorkel todos los días, pudimos ver fauna y flora abundante, además, el mar estuvo siempre con excelente visibilidad.
Adicionalmente, visitamos varios bellos lugares para ir en kayak.
Como recomendación, no olvidar llevar sus propias caretas y tubos, y camisetas de manga larga para protegerse del sol cuando hagan snorkel.

Une semaine fantastique en compagnie de Xavier et Amanda, un couple ultra sympathique et drôle, ils avaient à coeur que nous passions une semaine inoubliable et ils ont réussi. Nous avons pu participer à la navigation, avons profité de fantastiques spots de snorkelling rien que pour nous et partagé nos expériences autour de repas sains, équilibrés et variés comme nous l'avions demandé.
