First impression of the marina Athens Alimos: The marina is huge but unfortunately has very few sanitary facilities. Additionally, the sanitary facility at our dock was very dirty, the toilets were damaged, the doors could not be locked, and it was for shared use for men/women. In short - desolate.

The charter company: They have a small office in a container village centrally located in the marina Alimos. The welcome was friendly and courteous. The contractual matters and the briefing on the boat were carried out very correctly and took their time. The boat was also handed over clean and tidy. Defects or unclean noticeable issues during the briefing were immediately addressed and corrected.

Unfortunately, the boat handover was very late in the evening, so we could only leave the harbor the next day. It would have been nicer to receive an interim message or a specific schedule for when the handover of the boat would take place. We really had to wait a long time.

General impression of the charter company: Very fair. However, there is still a pending evaluation of damage caused by us to the keel.

Regarding Global Sailing: Very good advice, processing, communication... keep it up!
